I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to each of you for your incredible spirit and participation in the today's drive. Your dedication and teamwork transformed our efforts into a meaningful impact on the environment. I know it might have been just a drop in ocean but like me, am sure you all must have experienced a great sense of achievement and satisfaction. Thank you for showing such commitment to our community and for making a difference together. Cant single out any one ! Everyone drove exceptionally well as we headed to Big red with literally zero refusals , which kept on making me scale the level up and timely exit. @Pramod B - You did miss the coffee and muffins, but trust me this was just the beginning of many to come , at regular intervals - hope you managed to get your tyre sorted ! @Lala G - Special thanks for going beyond and the true team sprit displayed by offering us to take the trash bags from everyone and putting them where they should have been. You have my respect for this! @Mike M. Great captures Mike ! we plan Qudra soon !! @Emanuel Thanks for being the centre forward with calm and clear instructions in handling those couple of challenges we had. @Anoop Nair Thanks for being sweep and congrats on your 100th,a great way to celebrate it ! Just to re-iterate, and let you know the plan for this drive : Starting the day with a 6 am assembly at the meeting point and then heading towards Pink Rock, aiming to arrive around 7 am. The dedicated break from 7-8 am provides an opportunity to tidy up the area, clearing the mess left behind by irresponsible desert visitors and also we will have some hot coffee at this time. so as much as possible we will clear the mess up and then head towards our aimed exit at Big Red , by or before 10am. Looking forward to seeing you all later this week ! P.S : Coffee/ cookies are on me - As I celebrate my 150th Drive

    DRIVE DETAILS Level: Fewbie and above When: 26th Oct, Satday Meeting time: 06.00am - Sharp (Without any exceptions) Meeting Point: https://maps.app.goo.gl/rToMy4vn4dFRf1b76 Approximate finish time: 10.00 am Type of Car: Any proper 4x4 with front and back tow hooks and 8-10 inches of ground clearance. What to bring along: Loads of water, snacks (for yourself), smiles, enthusiasm and willingness to learn, and sun hat/screen as this is a summer drive and the sun is exceptionally hot. Mandatory off-road gears: Tire deflator, tire pressure gauge, compressor, walkie-talkie radio, off-road flag, shovel, first-aid kit and fire extinguisher. Note: Please ensure that all of your off-road gear is securely tied down with ratchet straps in the rear compartment of the vehicle. Bungy type tie downs are not suitable for tying down off-road gear.

While doing a FB drive last week on a Saturday morning , we noticed HUGE AMOUNT OF TRASH, Close to Pink rock and hence I, along with other participants had a similar thought- why not have a drive to clean up this trash ! So here we go - Sooner the better. - Hopefully we will continue this every now and then at regular intervals given the Camping season on its way. A drive with a mission to put some efforts to restore the beauty of our deserts ! The goal would be to clean up and revitalize desert landscapes - to the extent we can ! let's work hand in hand to clear up the litter, plastic waste, and other trash and preserving the natural splendor of these unique environments. Together, we can make a positive impact on the delicate desert ecosystem. Be a part of this transformative initiative and experience the gratification of preserving our precious deserts. Together, we can make a difference! 🌵🌟 - (Please Feel free to have family , friends join for this ( however only as co-passengers) - We will certainly have limited amount of desert drive post the clean up- We request every member that joins this drive to go through the below information and strictly follow these guidelines, etiquettes and responsibilities. Please withdraw your RSVP, if you find you are unable to join, so your spot can be taken by others in the waitlist. If the RSVP is full, you can add your name to the waitlist, if an RSVP attendee removes themselves, you will be moved from the waitlist to the RSVP list as an attendee. A convoy list will be sent out the day prior to the drive. Latecomers will be returned back - Without any exceptions. Members without RSVP will be returned back - Without any exceptions.
