  1. Thanks @Rob S for taking the time to share this content. As you have mentioned in your previous post for Prado, it’s not that straightforward as there are different opinions. I am trying to triangulate information from multiple sources and will decide based on that. As of now, I am between 265/70/17 or 275/65/17. Still a lot of reading needs to be done Thanks again, much appreciated!
  2. @Gaurav you made my day! This is my new favorite pic. I am already working on the White Rhino car sticker
  3. Thanks for sharing @GauravSoni. No, you are right. The OEM of Pajero is either 265/60/18 or 265/65/17. I am planning on getting the 265/70/17. But that wont impact much cause of the lift i am getting. Based on @Frederic's recommendation i am guessing both offset options of +20 and Zero are good options and should not be too far from OEM specs. I guess it will depend on the looks in the Tyre shop and naturally the availability of stock. Thanks again guys for all the help!
  4. Thanks @GauravSoni! The only thing i am going outside the book a bit is the wheel height as I plan on going for 265 / 70 / 17. The OEM of Pajero is 65 and not 70. With the lift that should not be an issue. Did you have any vibration or stability issues? haha! Yes, i prefer for the pajero to look beefed up a bit instead of a normal civilian. I plan on calling it The White Rhino once i am done with the mods I plan on doing. Maybe it will sway you back towards Pajero one more time haha! 5. Hi @Frederic, thanks for weighing in. Always appreciated :). Can you please elaborate on what I should be looking for when I am trying both ET20 and ET0 at the tyre shop?
  6. So based on that, since i am going 2" higher and the current OEM offset is 46mm. Does that mean that i need to get rims that are 20mm ish in offset?
  7. Hi @Warren Flay, thanks for taking the time! Here are the points of dilemma i am going through 1- I have to compensate the Center of Gravity for the 2 inch lift 2- Even if i keep my 18 wheels, i will have to install spacers to compensate for the 2" lift. I prefer to change the rims instead of adding spacers 3- Since i will change the rims, best is to downgrade for 17 so that i can get tyres with higher walls for footprint. In all cases, i have H/T Tyres now and i prefer to have A/T Tyres 4- Based on all the above, i am stuck at what Offset should the new rims be so that i tick point 1 above for the Center of Gravity and try to stay as close as OEM specs as possible. What do you think?
  8. Hey guys, I am about to lift the car (2" DOBINSONS MRR 3-WAY Adjustable Lift Kit). I need advice please on what should be the ideal offset not to strain the drive train and other components while balancing the Center of Gravity. As OEM, my current sets are 265/60/18 OFFSET46mm. I am considering on installing the Geolander G015 265/70/17. Since I am downgrading the rim size for higher tyre walls, I will need to buy new set of rims. Anyone here been through the same thought process? What should i be looking out for in this proces? All ideas and advice are more than welcome! Thanks!
  9. Something is wrong! it is 7:07 and the drive is not full yet. Maybe because of AD...
  10. Haha! No need. I’ll share a faster proof that I think should do…
  11. Thanks @Gaurav, my OCD was acting up on me...
  12. Hi all, quick question. How do you change your profile flag in @Carnitywebsite? Mine is UAE but I see some others reflecting their home country. @Frederic, you were introduced as the tech guru so I will reach out to you first (Yes, I know this is not a car tech related topic, but you have a Belgian flag next to your name. Thanks in advance.
  13. Job done. Thanks @Frederic. Guess I was worried of not being pushy with the larger pipe connected to it. Thanks again.
  14. Hi @Frederic, what I meant is that the maximum I can move the lid is as displayed in the pictures as the connector does not allow for movement. Again, admittedly, I’m not that savvy when it comes to this but that’s the maximum I’m able to move it. Any advice?
  15. Hi Frederic, thanks for the quick reply. Will try to elaborate more through video or photos once I leave the office. It might be a user error (me) but better safe than sorry.
  16. Hi all, I keep reading that it is important to clean the air filter after every drive. Anyone here has the experience with a newer version (2020) on how to clean the filter step by step? As of now, I attempted to open the air filter case but seems to me in the newer versions it is not straight forward without having to unscrew certain pieces. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
