Thanks @Stumpy, mine is Gen 2.5 (even weird to get such parts), recently added King springs at the back, and now afraid to twist the front torsion bar to increase stress on the CV axle and make them go crazy.
Body lift means engine spacer like...?
Body lift spacers as you have a ladder frame chassis,

Any luck on this @Stumpy?
For the Gen 2 it’s a body lift or suspension lift, body lift is relatively easy and kits pretty cheap. Suspension I think you have already done so a body lift would give you a little more space under the car but I don’t think it would change your clearance angles much at all.

Thanks for another great drive @Looper short convoy so the pace was nice and fast and great group to drive with 👍 bonus nice fresh sand all to our selves 👌
will have to look into my overheating on the big dune, the joys of learning about a new car

Thanks for the tip.
Might be time to YouTube how to weld 😎
Always a new skill to learn 😂, I lost a bash plate bolt as well on that drive 😜

Those fixed anchor nuts on the Pajero strip out really easy, best option is to drill and tap for a bigger bolt or take the plate off and weld in some decent nuts to bolt to.

Thank you @Looper another great drive, some good Crisscross at the start to warm up, short drive but a great mix of long range dunes and technical. New car destroys the track so my new position will have to be sweep 😂
only managed one self promotion photo 🥴(to busy trying not to launch 🚀 )

Dubizzle worked for me last week. car sold within 20mins of being posted to the first inquirer.
(Probably was too cheep 😂) the trick is being realistic with your price. Make sure you have some fun with the dealers that make stupid offers, I had one going for two days that thought I was going to pay him to take the car 🥴- 2

This mod is usually being done when the tire size changes, so the spare tire doesn’t fit in the original stock cover anymore.
Spare rim should be same size diameter as your other wheels if you’re planning on driving in 4H with center diff lock on. Otherwise your differential and transfer case might get damaged as far as I can remember. In two wheel drive with open diff this is not an issue of course.
Yep, plus the extra weight on the rear door and ease of access, ability to get the tyre off the door without having to open the back door.
I was planning on modding the rear door for a work table/storage that would have made access to the standard removal bolts difficult.
Personal preference but I am not a fan of the plastic cover, makes the car look like a old man’s car 😜

From where did you buy these panels from....
One garage has already removed the tyre cover and routed the cables to mount number plate, sensors and light but doesn't look clean....now i only need these panels...Hi mate, I got the panels and the number plate relocation bracket from Australia. A bit more expensive but much better quality. They fitted like a dream.
should be easy enough to find on google. I have sold my paj and all the bits/records that go with it.

Our plan vs. actual track.
We did a lot of planning, we spent a whole working day doing so, and that that's what saved us from getting disqualified instead of being 3rd, as we noticed we won't be able to do much if we try one more waypoint and instead return to the starting point.
Things went south at Waypoint 7 (Red 7) where we could have done better in achieving points. Till Way Point 9 (Red 5) we were ahead of time, but the fatigue of getting points at WP 7 and a couple of pop outs before and after WP 9 (Red 5) took all the energy out of us and we couldn't catch up with the time.
This was our first time doing anything like this and we were learning everything on the job in the middle of a serious competition. Having said that, we gained a tremendous amount of experience and are better prepared for the next year. If I were to do the exact same track it now, I am sure I would be able to do not only 215 that we initially planned but at least 240.
I wait eagerly for #DCT24.
Thank you @Looper for your leadership, job well done. Thanks to all the team @Mahmoud Taha @Bashar Beashaand @Bravoecho for an awesome day. Can’t wait to do it again. Hopefully as a 4 part championship series 👌
mans big thanks to @Carnityand the organisers for a amazing challenge

looks good mate. Im pretty keen to give it a try after seeing the end result!
Was pretty easy in the end, still need to relocate the parking sensors to the bumper, found if you unplug them the alarm goes off every time you put it in reverse, but if you leave them plugged in and taped together so the sensor are hard up against each other the alarm stops and the others still work 😂
nearly 11kg of weight removed from the rear door 😳

It’s taken a while to finish this project, my number plate mount got lost in shipment for a few weeks
Before
questioning my sanity with the wiring
after, still need to sort out the reverse sensors. Had to make a loom with plugs for the camera and number plate light so I can get the tyre off easy.

Sorry @Looper had to withdraw this morning, I think I have cracked my exhaust header 🥴. Thank you @Hisham Masaadfor stepping in.

I think made a mention somewhere that Pajero's don't like excessive lift, unless someone somewhere finds a creative solution of front diff drop. I couldn't.
I broke many CV axles too and then settled down with a limited lift of 1.5 - 2 inches as my sweet spot without breaking a CV axle every 6 months.
That’s all my lift is 2”, the diff drop I did didn’t change the cv angle, unfortunately cv joints are a consumable item when we drive like we do. The last thirty odd drives would have shortened its life considerably I think so it’s to be expected. Just all part of the fun 🥴😂

Great drive, thank you very much @Looper and and the support team, every one made it out in one piece 🙏👍
I did manage to capture the Jeep parking lot 😂, but then karma kicked in and I blew a front cv shaft on the way home 🥴

Thats almost same as Cronos, I will probably go for something cheaper here, anyway, I just need the wire, I can take the switch from the cronos or buy it separately
Thanks though 👍
