  1. I am at the garage now, will update soon. Thanks all for the short but intense drive 😁
  2. Thanks @Frederic. Yes this is the area. There are a few companies organizing tourist drives. I am trying to convince him to let me drive with them but they don’t seem keen on taking the liabilities 😁
  3. Bit of a long shot but would anyone happen to know of a company or contact that would be ok to set up (and lead) a drive in the dunes north of Salalah this week ? thanks a lot !!
  4. Thanks @Mark B. A comment from @JeromeFJ changed the way I drive in my 3rd FB+ drive -> feel the amount of power you need to go smoothly over the next 5-10 seconds and picture the smooth line to take.
  5. A great start of the week with the big dunes of Nahel. Thanks @JeromeFJ and @Mark B for sweep. An awesome first IM drive on my favorite playground 😁 @Mark B how do you like the paddles for dune driving ? Had them on my 911 and loved them. How did you get them installed ? Did you change the whole wheel drive ?
  6. Thanks @Mike M. exactly what I was looking for. Thanks @JeromeFJ. I assume these are similar to @Mike M.’s ? Wouldn’t simple plastic one slip down the pole over time ? I think @JeromeFJ and @Mike M. rubber clips are the out of the box solution
  7. What would be the best way to fix a flag on a pole ? Mine's stock from where I bought the pole and is bad quality plastic bits, causing the flag to fall down during the drive. Thanks in advance !
  8. An high paced and varied drive. Thanks @JeromeFJ, best start to a week-end. We were able to alternate high dunes, ridge riding and more technical area with very few stops. @Batuhan Kulac I hope you find out where the leak comes from and can come back for more soon enough !
  9. Such a great drive. Thank you @JeromeFJ. This part of Sweihan is really special. I had done it in fewbie mode with @Ale Vallecchi and absolutely loved the place. Loved it just as much in fewbie+ led by @JeromeFJ. Makes me want to relocate to Al Ain
  10. @Zed this is exactly what happened when I was cross-crossing. The back just slid when I tried to cross and ended up crested. i (unwillingly, thought it was sensor issue) drove for 30 mins with rear diff lock on and while its not totally unmanageable, I clearly noticed the back was sliding a lot more anytime I was turning sharply. @Luke K P not sure how that compares to your experience, but from mine, I can’t really think wranglers are meant to be driven with it on 😁
  11. Thanks @Ale Vallecchi. Can’t wait for the drive. Do you have the GPS coordinates for the meeting point yet please ?
  12. A quickly put together short video from a couple recordings made by my wife: Thanks for the drive @Davie Chase @Gary F @Mark B - always great to ride by night !
  13. Thank you for the great drive @Islam Soliman. Managed to have a lot of technical fun and beat the work record of popouts all at the same time !!
  14. Such a memorable day for me. This was really next level fun (and challenge). Thank you @Asif Hussain for the superb lead and the rest of the team for the help and guidance (special mention to @PAJERO petelczyc luke who got me out of trouble more than a couple of times :)). Thanks to our photographer @Marek_was003 - can’t wait to see those pictures mate !
  15. Got the car back. Did a minor service + mechanic checked all potential reasons that may have caused the issue: all good. He said it might have been due to transmission heating that triggered the electronics… he did a scan and did not find anything wrong.
  16. Thank you @Davie Chase for the awesome drive and the lead and @FERNANDO SYRIO, @Benjamin and @Gary F for the awesome support. @Mark B thank you for getting it back online. It’s currently at a garage and I should have a diagnostic by 5pm. Hopefully nothing that can’t be fixed today
