  1. @Luke K P, very well-deserved mate. Your commitment to Carnity and driving as often as possible is commendable. As is your willing attitude and always being ready to assist others!
  2. @Asif Hussain, @JeromeFJ and @Marek thanks for a day that lived up to all the hype and expectations. LIWA is most definitely a very special place, i am in awe of the places we managed to get to. Tricky climbs, desents that last for ever (with singing sand), evil pockets ready to catch any wrong move and some of the softest sand in the UAE. A very special drive that will be remembered for years!
  3. I have heard a similar noise, mine seems to be worn out rear diff bushes. Getting them changed on Saturday. Will see if that solves it on my car.
  4. This is very well deserved, congratulations @davie c smooth operator
  5. @DP1011 would have loved to visit this amazing area again, But work calls on Sat morning ☹️. So heading back to Razeen to join the hunt for Asif's radio 😀 on Sunday.
  6. Hi and welcome! Jump on this forum for lots of info https://carnity.com/forums/forum/382-mitsubishi-pajero-forum-in-uae/ Also chat to the more senior pajero owners when you start your newbie drives. See you on the dunes soon.
  7. Thanks All for the kind words. Really looking forward to the new adventures and skills that intermediate level will bring. @DP1011 yes I will keep unleashing pajero power, thanks for getting me to believe in it 🫡. Also plan to do a few more lower level drives to start building my support skills.
  8. @Islam Soliman thanks for all the memories! My 1st Fewbie drive was with you one of your famous technical drives. I learned so much on that drive and all the others with you as lead or in support. You are a true gentleman. Sorry that I can't make the farewell drive. All the best with your next adventures.
  9. Thanks for the inspiring message @Asif Hussain. When I was researching which off road club to join i read some of the posts about previous DCT competitions and was really inspired to try one day. The amazing mentorship of the senior members of the club brought me to this point quicker than I believed was possible. Along with the special people who I have grown with through this journey from newbie days early this year. @Nizar Shawwa and @RiadJL are two of those people. Look forward to meeting @JohanE.
  10. @Marek, awesome news and well deserved! Need to get myself sorted and do my application. Join you soon on some IM drives!
  11. @Shaun J, Congratulations and extremely well deserved. Need to get my A into G and take the pics of my gear and submit the application! Join you soon on an intermediate drive!
  12. Thanks @Looper and @Gaurav Soni for the drive today. Was a real experience and you pushed us hard, yet no shovels and no ropes! Can't wait for DCT now!
  13. @Gaurav and @Looper there is a good chance I will run late at work. If in time I will join Luke & Aser and go directly to the gathering point. If run too late will send an update, in case I have to miss this one.
  14. Well Done Brett! Always good to drive with you and your red beast of a jeep. Cheers Andrew
  15. Well Done Aser! and very well deserved, always calm and controlled in the dunes. Hope your steering issue is fixed this week. Cheers Andrew
  16. Well Done mate! Has been great going through this learning experience on so many drives with you. I am still one drive short, hopefully I can apply soon. See you in the dunes
  17. A big thanks @DP1011 what an awesome morning! One of the best drives so far! Here is a pic of our route around one of the bowls we played in.
  18. Hi, is the nearest fuel station the ADNOC in Sweihan? The one without early morning coffee.
  19. Hi @Asif Hussain was a pleasure driving with you for the 1st time on Sunday, I am really keen for DCT. Hope I can make the grade for your team!
  20. @Asif Hussain Thanks for a great morning drive yesterday! Have been to Al Faya a number of times and thought I knew it; however, your route exposed some more of its charms! To the entire convoy, there was a great sense of humor and fun throughout the morning, even when dealing with the few issues along the way!
  21. Hi, the installation shop did the alignment, but I took it to a highly recommended alignment specialist the very next morning as a belt and braces approach. It drove fantastically both off road and on road, and still does. But my OCD has convinced me that it needs another check.
