  1. Fantastic and tasteful Pajero, wish I was in the market for a new vehicle.
  2. @Zubail I suggest purchasing all the equipment that you believe should be in the box, then go to Ace or similar and find a suitable box or two that will fit in your trunk. Also need to size it and locate it in a position that works with the tie down points in your car. Using two boxes might make the packing of your trunk easier and make them lighter to remove if you need to use the 3rd row. The most important goal is to have everything able to be secured so that they do not bounce around over rough ground and fly around the cabin causing injury if something more serious happens.
  3. Can 100% concur with Luke, I have a large plastic storage box that contains recovery gear, tools, basic emergency equipment, etc. tied down with ratchet straps and shovel mounted onto the rear door of my Pajero with the same rubber clips. In my front cubby I have my quick deflating tool, pressure gauge and leather work gloves, along with a roll of toilet paper and spare bin bags.
  4. Thanks Ale, he passed away in 1986 but I remember his stories well and am super proud of him. He was a man of strong convictions and lived by his own rules, even to the point of living in exile due to his liberal political beliefs in 1950's South Africa. Left to settle in Swaziland.
  5. Thanks Aser, grandad received a medal for his service with the LRDG as a navigator during the lead up to the battle of El Alamein. He surveyed the artillery positions amongst other information gathering.
  6. @Ale Vallecchi thanks for a fantastic drive this morning, that we all managed the complete over 100km through the technical terrain covered is testament to your navigation skills. Proud of the LRDG sticker, my grandfather was a navigator in the LRDG during WW2 in North Africa.
  7. Congratulations @Mahmut has always been great to drive with you, hopefully work will not get in the way too much and I can join you soon.
  8. Congratulations @Shaun J on the FB+ promotion, very well deserved. Enjoy the next level!
  9. So sorry that I had to miss this one, sound like it was a great drive!
  10. @Davie Chase really sorry but i will have to pull out of the drive tomorrow. I have a damaged tire and cannot get suitable replacements in time. Real bummer as I was looking forward to the drive.
  11. @Ale Vallecchi thanks again for a fantastic drive in a stunning landscape! @Rob S and @munkybizness your support roles excellent as always, really appreciated the advice and assistance during my refusals and the stuck. @Emanuel was good to follow your impeccable lines again! Also had to remove tons of mud from my rims, felt like i had lost all my wheel balance weights! Also had to air up the right front twice on the way home. Workshop in dubai cleaned out a good bit of sand from between the tire bead and the rim! To everyone in the convoy, thanks for a really good morning. 👍
  12. Thanks @Looper, @Rob S and @Luke K Pfor an amazing drive, i got a lot of learning done in only 2 hours! One of my real standout drives so far. Cant wait to get back in the dunes, today really drove my passion for ofroading and carnity to the next level.
  13. @Ale Vallecchi thanks for a great drive this morning, really clean sand, lots of camels and some true exploration.
  14. @DP1011 thanks for leading us on a fantastic drive. Especially with all the ridge riding lessons! I really leaned a lot and conquered some fears. Ramadan Kareem
  15. A big Thank You to @Davie Chase and your support team @Imteeaz and @Islam Soliman. It was a fantastic drive this morning, great to experience such a flowing drive at a faster pace and on longer side slopes! Al Faya is an incredible place and today was my best experience of it so far, looking forward to the next trip!
  16. @Rahul6157, congratulations mate, look forward to seeing you on the dune again!
  17. @Rohit Deginal, congratulations brother. See you out on the dunes!
  18. Hi all and especially @Islam Soliman and @Imteeaz for a great learning experience, having such a technical drive as my 1st Fewbie drive was a real eye opener and confirmed my love for off roading and has motivated me to keep growing in the sport! Also @Julien Recan thanks for showing me the lines to take, you did great as a 2nd lead! Cheers Andrew
  19. Congratulation Hani, look forward to seeing you out on the Fewbie drives!
  20. Thanks so much to all the carnity team! Really appreciate the promotion and look forward to growing with the community!
  21. Really like the look of the Tank 300 and it does get great reviews in Aus and SA. Will wait a bit to see how it performs in the wild for a year or two and then have a more detailed look at one.
  22. Thanks, @Vanessa8580 as our convoy 2 lead and @Frederic for organizing the scenic drive. It was an awesome day out. Lots of laughs, banter and chatting amongst the challenges and great views.
