It's time to sell my wife's beloved and obsessively maintained Mini Cooper. We will be leaving the country soon. The car was purchased in 2022 directly from AGMC MINI, the official Mini dealership in Dubai, with just 15.700km. AGMC guaranteed the low odometer and we had a third party check the ECU, just to be safe. Now the odometer reads 38.200km. My wife kept it in pristine condition, the interior still smells new. The handling is extraordinarily nimble and the car is great fun to drive. She loves this car and replaced anything that was slightly deteriorated. In less than 2 years she replaced/fixed: - Front and rear brake pads - Front lower arm bushings and stabilizer links - Front shock absorbers - New set of tires (2023) - Engine mount - Gearbox mount This Mini Cooper can be yours for 49.500AED. It's priced well and given the car's conditions, the price is not negotiable. We had the car independently inspected last month, and it's perfect inside and outside. There is no rust, the suspensions work great, and the engine works smoothly. This month, the car also passed the RTA yearly testing with the only remark being "minor body scratches". Lastly, of course, no accidents. You can inspect the car in Downtown Dubai, DM for more details.

Thank you @Gaurav for the technical and fun drive - we touched so many types of dunes and terrains, it was a great learning experience. Special shoutout to @Benjamin for his patience and skills, I learnt a lot just by watching him and listening to his instructions on the radio, and to @Sviatoslav for the amazing pictures!

I've had the UV-5R and the static was horrendous even with squelch at lvl. 9. After that, I bought the UV-9R and it's significantly better. I don't believe it to be faulty hardware, just software. You'll be happy to have spent that extra 20AED when you are cruising in the desert, listening to the wind. With the UV-5R all that I was hearing was: "...bzzzzzzzzz...bzz...bzzzz...bzzzzzzzzzzzzz".

I would like to apologize to all for the delay caused by my electrical issues. Thank you @Davie Chase and the support team for helping me fix the issue. I managed to get home and the OBD didn't catch any error along the way. I'll get it sorted and I'll see you next week, hopefully 😁

Don't worry @Pramod B, there are usually a couple of last-minute dropouts every weekend. I've been there before 😅 Also, if many are on the waitlist, the Carnity team usually opens a new drive or extends the convoy.
