  1. Yes maybe.. But i read somewhere that it might be something related to the ECU and the speed data not updated between ECUs. Hence someone suggested to do the fuse in and out.
  2. This solution kind of worked. But the major difference was by just fixing all the fuses in the fuse box. Steering wheel oil etc was all right levels.
  3. Brilliant post! Thanks for the detail information! This is going to be very helpful for a lot of people!
  4. I am not sure whether you have heard of Mleiha Museum. http://www.discovermleiha.ae/ It's a great place to visit & very educational for kids as well. The location is very picturesque. Post the visit to the museum you can drive inside a bit and there are small enclosed spaces which are a bit rocky and sandy where you can do BBQ and camp as well. The best part is its only an hours drive from Dubai. https://goo.gl/maps/wrvXAFHSFGR2
  5. Oman is always a great option! Its a beautiful place to explore if you have a 4x4.
  6. Do you prefer a location which is a mix of desert and mountains? Since you mentioned that you wanna avoid sandy places or was it a reference to beach.
  7. Hey @Radhika advance Happy Bday to you! 🌹 Do all of you have a 4x4? Or there are some Sedans as well? How far are you willing to drive? Or do you want someplace within an hour drive? Btw i haven't heard of this Wadi Siji. Share some photos or info that you have heard.
  8. The 599 GTB Fiorano was the next in line of Ferrari’s production V12s. Delivering over 600 horsepower, and combining elements of classic design language with modern aerodynamics; these cars proved extremely desirable and superb to drive, especially when equipped with the brand’s optional 6-speed gearbox. Tomini Classics proudly presents this superlative 599 GTB Nibbio Zagato, one of nine cars built, and the only example of the series to ever be equipped with a manual gearbox. 9. Anyone renewing their car after August 2018 must have received a lifetime car registration card (Mulkiya). Good move towards a sustainable future. Now everyone can renew their car online. Old cars need passing as usual. But once you have the passing done everything else is online!
  10. How does tire pressure matter? Like the steering to be that stiff tire pressure has to be real low right? Yes just got work done on suspension. Bushing changed.
  11. The steering wheel for my P38 Range Rover (1999) seems a lot stiff. Especially during taking reverse and Uturn. Really feels like driving a heavy truck. Any quick solution or things to check?
  12. Did some search and found out this car is available on duzle for 290k LANCIA DELTA HF INTEGRALE EVOLUZIONE 2 (1993) in Monza Red with Alcantara Beige interior trim This Japanese EVO II has covered less than 62,000 km from new and comes complete with a full service history. Japanese maintenance records are from 1994, 1995, 1999, 2003, 2005, 2007, 2009, 2011, 2013, 2015 and now 2017 through to September 2018 under the current ownership. The production date as verified by the Lancia Classiche Certificate of Origin which will be supplied with the car is 22nd November 1993. Upon acquiring the car in May 2017, engine gaskets were replaced as part of a full inspection and service, a new battery with cut-off switch was fitted and both the turbo and air conditioning systems were serviced and essential components replaced. (Air conditioning upgraded to run on R134a refrigerant) Four new Michelin Pilot tyres were also fitted on the newly refurbished 16” Speedline alloys and full wheel balancing/alignment was carried out. At the same time, brand new top of the line BC Racing inverted adjustable coilovers were fitted to replace the stock suspension. The original suspension components were retained and will be supplied with the car. In February 2018 the manual transmission fluid was changed, fuel pump wiring upgraded and a full diagnostics health check was done. Preventative maintenance has just been completed in September 2018 (61,400km) and included the fitment of a new timing belt (previously done at 59,171km), balance belt, all auxiliary belts, water pump, all associated tensioners and bearings as well as a full A/C recharge. The interior is in immaculate condition and is totally original except for the OEM MOMO gear knob. The Recaro high back driver’s seat bolster shows only minimal scuffing and is protected by a full seat cover. Beyond this, the interior trim presents almost as new with the exception of a small wear patch on the passenger footwell carpet. The rear parcel shelf is pristine with no unsightly cut outs or drill holes. All lights, gauges, central locking and other electrics work perfectly, even the retractable electric aerial for the radio is fully operational. The engine starts and idles without hesitation and accelerates cleanly. Clutch action is smooth and gearbox operation precise. This Delta’s turbo boosts exactly as it should, running the standard factory boost settings of 0.9-1.0 Bar. During operation there are no odd mechanical noises and no fluid leaks present. Bodywork is in fantastic original condition, no accidents, no panels replaced and no corrosion present anywhere. Full body protection and micro detailing, including the engine bay and interior was carried out by D31 in November 2017 at a cost of AED 8000/-. The original Lancia etched glass is retained throughout the car and all seals and rubbers are in excellent shape. Supplied with genuine wallet, handbooks, tool kit and spare wheel including the original four keys as well as the OEM SONY XR-5G51 OEM radio cassette player. Nothing short of fastidious maintenance has been carried out to ensure that this is one of the best presented and well maintained Deltas out there. It’s permanently stored and covered in a basement garage and will be supplied with a premium tailored “Lancia” protective cloth cover. Non-standard equipment includes: New BC Racing RM inverted adjustable coilovers (as mentioned, the original suspension components are available and can easily be re-fitted by the new owner if required) New Turbosmart Blow off Valve New H&R hub centric wheel spacers New ITG performance air filter OEM Presto Rally Racing stainless steel silencer/muffler OEM Abarth Rear strut brace
  13. Spotted this beauty in Dubai. Why did they stop designing such beautiful cars? !
  14. Can a Dubai resident register/buy a car in any other emirate other than Dubai? If yes are there any pros or cons to this? Also has anyone experienced visiting car showrooms in other emirates, how the service or salesmanship been? Cos in Dubai showrooms i have noticed the sales guys are not so entertaining and sometimes even rude.
  15. This is so true. ! Why buy something that is so common and which can be bought easily in your home country. Since we are here we should take advantage of the cheap petrol and the low cost of these beauties. Cos back home they would cost a fortune to buy and maintain as well.
  16. How much did you buy it for? And what was the Kms when you bought it.
  17. How good or bad is it to own a used BMW car. Based on the foll criteria: Spare parts costs and availability Mileage(Kms driven) range to look for in a used car Which series is the most economical and less troublesome Which year model is preferred or reliable from any of your personal experience.
  18. The DB5 was popularized in Goldfinger but actually appeared in six Bond films, including Thunderball, GoldenEye, and Tomorrow Never Dies. A die-cast model of the car was sold in 1965 and quickly became a holiday hit for children. In its first year of production, 2.5 million full-size models were sold. Fast-forward to 2018 and you can now park the real DB5 in your garage. But before you do, be aware that it’ll cost you a whopping 2.75 million pounds (about $3.5 million). It also won’t be available for delivery until 2020.
