Safety Recall Campaign Statement: Front Passenger Airbag Inflator 2010 -13 YM Accord Crosstour and 2009-13 YM Pilot
In coordination with the UAE Ministry of Economy - Competition & Consumer Protection Department and in line with the commitment of the Ministry of Economy to conduct an on-going review of all products in the UAE and provide the consumer with the required protection, Trading Enterprises Company LLC announces a recall campaign for 2010 - 13 YM Accord Crosstour and 2009-13 YM Pilot.
United Arab Emirates, Dubai, Trading Enterprises Company LLC, 10th January 2018, exclusive distributor of Honda in the UAE, released the following statement:
Following communication with Honda Motor Company, we have started a Safety Recall Campaign on 870 units of 2010 - 13 YM Accord Crosstour and 2009-13 YM Pilot in the UAE.
In the subject vehicles there is a possibility of airbag inflator rupturing due to abnormal combustion of propellants when airbags deploy.
All repairs related to this service campaign will be completed free of charge to the customer.
In the interests of delivering the highest standards, of Honda quality and customer care, Trading Enterprises Company LLC will begin contacting customers with affected models to inform them about the recall and arrange service booking accordingly as soon as the countermeasure parts are available from Honda Motor Company.
