Action Plan: Given the heat, and the somewhat shorter driving time available during afternoon drives, I have thought of making the best of that time by launching an "Sunset on Top of a Dune" Series. Relatively short drives (although one never knows with me), at relatively fast pace, aimed at reaching the top of the major dunes that dominate our deserts. The first drive of the series will be in Badayer (soon to be published in the upcoming midweek drive), then the present one, in Little Sweihan. Others will follow, mostly in Sweihan's area, or whenever a nice dune with a view will come to mind.
What to bring along: Loads of water, snacks (for yourself), smiles, face mask, rubber gloves, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn.
Approximate finish time: 7:00 PM
P.S. Only join if you have a compressor to inflate your tires after the drive.
