my cadillac windshield wiper stays on all the time why?

the windshield wiper of my 2000 Deville is constantly stays on even when you shut it off and i want to know how do i stop it

Turn the ignition switch ON and Move the wiper switch to all positions and then to OFF.

Disconnect the wiper/washer switch connector. Dose the wipers still operate?

if not then you must replace the wiper motor.
