Why is the ABS and Traction Light on in my 2006 DTS?

the ABS Light and the Traction Control dash light comes on and off randomly on my 2006 DTS. Why is this happening and how can i stop the lights flashing

Check fluid level and condition in the brake master cylinder. If it's got sludge on the bottom flush it with denatured alcohol and replace with clean, fresh fluid.Get the codes scanned.
