how to change break intensity

i got a second hand lumina for a friend of mine

i want to get he intensity of the breaks changed as i has already got new breaks for the car hardly a month old.

can i change it myself or do i need a pro

You cant play with brake intensity, unless its really bad.

if its really bad that you have to press full pump in to hold brake that means the brake pistons is dying, get it changed. Its a long time consumable item having 5year - 7 year of life.
