OFF Road Garage Recommendation for Toyota Prado

Dear All - as some of you know , I've been having trouble with my Prado Low4 not engaging. My regular garage has on two occasions said that nothing is wrong and the Low 4 is quite idiosyncratic. It engages sometime and doesn't on other occasions. Not ideal in the desert. I would be grateful if you could advise where I can take it to be fixed or should I just go to Al Futtaim?

Hi Avi, if your prado is less than 5 years old, then it's better to let Al Futtaim answer this issue in warranty.

If it's more than 5 years then you can approach Dynatrade or Autotrust  kind of branded shop for getting the work done properly.

Also research more on this issue more with your model year as in some vehicle especially Range Rover this is typical known issue of a failing solenoid after certain age. It's fairly simple job to buy a new solenoid for 600-700 dhs and get it replaced from your trusted mechanic.
