Hi Frederic,

2024 2dr Rubicon light blue.

0 off-road experience.

Front and read tow hook confirmed.

DO NOT have safety flag, radio, or air compressor

I have watched the newbie video briefing.

I have not had the time to go somewhere and leave the car to get aircompressor installed. This is all new to me tbh. I might have time on Friday. I was told to go to international city for the 3 items.

I called Jeepers and was quoted 2900 for their inhouse air compressor brand which would be onboard installed under the passenger seat.

I was frankly hoping someone could help me with deflating with their gear for the 1st ride. I wanted to look for cheaper place to get it done, and ask other riders where they got theirs done.

If not possible that way, I need ro contact Jeepers and make appointment for tomorrow.

Here is a great overview written by @Frederic that gives a knowledge boost about compressors. While it’s 3 years old, it still holds. Hope it helps.

Dear @Osamamasfaryand @Raghav1996

A flag, radio, and compressor will be needed from the second drive onwards. For your very first drive we can allow for some exceptions and we will try to help out.

Have a look at the topics that @Jose Luis Camposhad posted here above. In one single trip to Dragon Mart you can get all three sorted for low cost:

- Motorola or Crony MT777 (140dhs approx) or Baofeng UV5R (80dhs approx) radio.
- Flag (40-80dhs approx).

- Compressor: The big double cylinder camel compressors is around 300dhs. Speedex has it as well under the name VITALY. There are also smaller models but don't expect them to last more than 2 drives. The ARB inbuilt compressors are indeed great but definitely not needed as a beginner.

@Jose Luis Campos @Fredericlegends! thank you for the dragon mart article. Heading there now. Will save me time wandering around.

I will get the camel compressor, assuming it’ll take a lot longer to inflate compared to ARB but the price is miles apart. I’m noobing hard and don’t want to get top end gear right off the bat

Funny thing is that the Camel double piston is as fast or perhaps even slightly faster than the ARB twin compressor 😜
