hi @JeromeFJ could you please share tentative exit points?

Hi Andrei

The tentative exit point is here https://maps.app.goo.gl/WNvVVxrQhuyK9Tiz9

Please every one note that it still relatively far from any petrol station.

Please make sure you have a compressor in working order, and sufficient fuel at the start of the drive.

There is a petrol station at the starting point itself, if you want to be on the safe side.

Thank you all for joining the drive today. It was a new itinerary for me, and I quite enjoyed it. The first portion, despite many tracks, was offering a nice warm-up with the wide open dunes, and nice views of the morning mist view the rising sunlight.

Coming back in the East direction was not the best, with the many bushes and small technical dunes but a bit of practice doesn't hurt, and we were rewarded with a high dune where we could play and try different routes to reach to the top. Crossing the sabkha to the South, we reached the next cordon of dunes to practice a few criss-crossing (climbing the dune sideways, driving on the ridge, and crossing to the other side).

After the break, we we turned our direction to the South-West, finding our ways through bushes areas, but staying inside the higher dunes, we could find nice clean ridges and small bowls to loop around. A few adventures to spice the route (a pop-out efficiently sorted by the support team, and more unusual, a desert mouse finding shade below a stuck car. Even once the car was released and reversing to find a flat spot, the mouse was running after it to keep its shade !).

Last thrilling moment before ending the drive with a high climb and a daunting crossing into the slip face to reach a sable sand elbow on the way down. Congratulations to all, this was clearly a Fewbie Plus move and everyone went through without blinking ! Then we reached the exit point, close to an amazing forest, 20km long, framed with high walls in the middle of the desert !

Thank you @Mark B for the 2nd Lead and support, @Andrei S in the middle and @Jose Luis Campos at the back were keeping the convoy together. @Humi @Soap @Thomas54675 @Zahid Sharif @Danie @Yury.bel thank you for your focus on your driving, and an excellent team spirit!
