Thomas54675
For me, it’s very easy to say that this was one of the best rides I’ve ever had in the desert. The terrain was amazing, the speed we drove was incredible, and the route offered every challenge. It truly required putting all my driving skills into practice. Most importantly, I learned and gained so much more. I gained a better understanding of power management, the importance of momentum over RPM ( @Giacomo your advise was super helpful especially when dealing with coolant temperature issues). I I got pulled once and managed some several self-recoveries after a few refusals 😄. The team was incredibly solid, and @Mark B, you where outstanding in leading the group. 2 1

Thanks Thomas really glad you enjoyed it and even better enhanced the driving skills! That’s a win win! Hopefully that overheating issues is an easy one! Always great to have you on the drives mate have been with me from the store and we’re all still learning 😊😊
Thomas54675
Hi @Mark B, I did talk to my Jeep Dude and analysing the issue he concluded that I'm not part of the problme. I'm the Problem 😁😂😁 Good speed, abt 4500Rpm 2nd gear and I will sail thru the dunes. I did clean my Air filter (bucket of Sand) and give a good top up to the coolant. 100% a win win drive and thats the great thing in our club. I will defiantly not buy myself a VOLVO and give up 😂
Mark B
haha well it is very hot and it’s definitely learning to use the dunes gravity to catapult you apposed to just your foot 🤣 but definitely don’t buy a Volvo mate! 😂😂😂 2
