headlight issue

i have a 2006 Jeep Wrangler which is having an unusual issue with the headlights that is which when i turn on headlight switch, the day light comes on but not the headlights.So changed the headlight switch but the problem stays the same.

i am completely clueless any help will be appreciated

Check the earth on headlight, it must be missing.
