y dose my car overheat

except for coolant and AC fan what else could be the factors of Grand Cherokee 2000 to overheat.

it only overheats after lets say 1/2 n hour of constant driving.

Thermostat sounds bad, as its not open and closing in time for circulating cold and hot water exchange between engine jacket and radiator.
