amitaj
Hey People I have Audi A8 from past 1 year. Recently, I took my car to the service center and they reported that the fan clutch is faulty in the car. I am not really sure about the consequences of the same. Can anyone tell me about the same. Also, is it really necessary to replace it? Thank you
danish
Well I remember my time when the fan clutch was faulty in my car. I took it really light, but it led to engine overheating. If the fan in your car is missing or faulty it can decrease the cooling in the engine by more than 50% even if the radiator cap is working fine. So yes, if there is a problem in the fan clutch just get it fixed, otherwise the engine will overheat.
