major servic is completed?

i got a service done where the mechanic changed the breaks and air n fuel filter but he did not change the timing belt

if i would have asked him y he didnt he would be more then happy to do it so that he can earn some more cash. so i want an advise if i should get it done or not.

the car is driven 80,000 KM

Timing belt is due around 80k - 90k, dont over drive it.

And secondly get the good technician for changing the timing belt. Its a serious job.
