my car is blowing blue smoke out

recently i have noticed that the car was blowing blue smoke from the tail pipe.i have had other cars in the past but i have never noticed anything like this.

i have had notice it happened after the car is off for more than a few hours, and then when i turn it on, it blows blue smoke.

please advice

Are you loosing power too and low gas mileage. Then its a bad news that engine head gasket is gone and it results in white smoke and in beginning that grayish smoke looks like in different color. But i never heard blue.
