violer
Sorry its 2003 late model Qx4. Typo coz i am considering desperately 2007 Qx56 which i will be buying soon in this year end. Any one knows any downside of 2007 Qx56, other than its American build quality......lol.

humsafar
Dear Violer, can you please advise exactly what was wrong with your transmission and what exactly you did to rectify it, I am having the same problem, When I start my car in morning, after driving about few minutes mostly in 1st gear, the RPM starts going high upto 3500 to 4000 rpms and the car barely moves, after few minutes it becomes okay, this happens only in Stop and Go traffic, because I get stuck in traffic jam as soon as I leave my Parking and then all the way till my office the traffic is like this, this problem only happens in stop and go kind of traffic, On holidays when there is not traffic and I dont have to stop and go every second moment, then the rpms behave normaly, any ideas guys, please ask if my question is ambiguous, i will try to elaborate further, I m not much of a narrator, however will try to explain as much as possible. May be revolution (speed) sensor of transmission not work properly or damaged. Anyway you should bring the car for some good diagnostic.
violer
@humsafar My tranny was slipping occasionally, randomly thru out the day. And gear shift started noticeable jerk unlike before. Gear oil change did the magic, as oil was JET BLACK One cartoon mechanic quoted me rebuilding the gear box for 2500 aed, thanx to our infiniti community for saving those big bucks. I think your issue is somewhat different and not on oil based otherwise it should happen thru out the day and not only in mornings. Hope someone more educated and experience member can help you like Massaget suggested something about sensor. Worth a try a proper diagnostic if some fault is recorded, it will help in tracing the trouble maker part.
