my car is slowing down

i have a sedona mini van which is 2006 and have not had any problems with it until recently which is pretty weird

As it is mainly used for my company i have done 80,000 km and going on...

on my way to work I felt a ripple going about for few seconds later the check engine light flashed off and

I experienced a great loss of power

what could be the cause

please advice

Check engine light comes for a reason, you need to concern qualified mechanic with full computer tools to plug and diagnose the problem and fix it. Go to dealer its better.
