KiaDxb Posted July 1, 2011 Author Report Share Posted July 1, 2011 Timing belt shud be changed at 100k km. It doesnt give any knocking noise instead loud clanking or tearing your engine. If belt fails. This noise must be from tappet or lifter of valve release, better show to good mechanic and dont drive till then. It might aggravate the problem.
