Is it possible that there can be a leak in the fuel tank as i have started getting low mileage on this car the mechanic said that there are tiny holes in the fuel tank and needs to replace it( cant be repaired)

want to know if it is true

Same holes mechanic could show u to make u believe. As its sounds unreal, but u never know.
