changing the lifters will stop the clicking engine

when suffering with loud clicking i got my car checked and the mechanic has concluded that 4 lifters have reached maximum specs and all the others are perfect.

but he is not sure if changing the lifters will stop the noise as this may be one of the fault which we can only tell after we change them

Will changing these 4 lifters correct the problem i need a second expert advise please

No can guarantee that, but usual suspect is lifter while engine start clicking too much. If not the valve or tappets.

You can even diagnose these mechanical issue in computer that can tell you 100% correctly. You got to take the shot, better take 2 or 3 more mechanic opinion after they hear the noise they can advise better.
