battery light cam up from nowhere

when driving normally one day the battery light just cam up for a max of 1 min and then went off

for that i min the dash display became dim and i encountered loss of power .

any reason

For that 1 min, you car alternator died and again got life back. Keep a close eye, if it happen again switch off all lights ( as your battery stops getting charged) including headlights and just drive home or to near mechanic and get new alternator. It cud take 2 years also and 2 days also to fail. No one knows.
