Hey people. Not really sure on how to react upon the battery charging light popping on the dashboard. Please help.

If you see the battery light on your dashboard, it means the alternator in your car is not responding and the batter power alone is running the car. Thats is sometimes dangerous, as it completely destroy the battery sometimes.

How far can i go this is trouble light on?

If you are going for a short ride, then its fine. but don't take your car outside for a longer drive with the battery light popping on the dashboard. You need an expert to fix the alternator before the battery dies completely. Also make sure that you keep all radios & stereos switched off if you are facing this light on the dashboard.
