javaidamin
Hi, I bought a brand new 2012 Prado V6 petrol just last month, on the very first drive I realized that there is considerable vibration on the steering at 110kmph speed, I have given it 3 times to toyota dealership service center but so far they have failed to resolve it, in addition during their last attempt to fix it they created another problem of pulling towards left side. it has done only 2000kms. I am very disappointed with Toyota Service Center. Any suggestions ?
Adolfo
try to use your spare tyre, because before i have the same problem, it happened to me at speed of 80 to 100 kph, before 80kph and after 100kph of speed it doesnt vibrate. maybe your tyre tread is odd-even, you can see it on the tyre tread if its up and down, it cause to wheel to vibrate and makes a noisy sound. you need also a wheel balance. for the problem of pulling towards left side, maybe its your wheel alignment. javaidamin
Thank You all for your comments. Last week, in their fourth attempt they were able to fix the issue. I was told that all 4 tires were replaced under warranty. It took 2 weeks / 4 visits, to have the faulty tires replaced, usually replacing tires takes less than 2 hours at any tire shop. Amalik
Hey Jayrom, this is Toyota car owners community and not Toyota dealer. I think you you need to contact Al futtaim on this (if they can help). Good luck.
222HOT
I had exactly the same problem and purchased my Prado around the same time. I took for wheel balancing and it was a lot better.
