GTI 60,000 service

Hi everyone,

I am just wondering if any body else has taken their Golf to an independent for its 60k service....Is this something I should only leave to Naboodah or can these smaller cheaper garages be trusted with it?

Which garage did you use? What was the difference in price?

Also does the DSG oil need to be changed at 60k?

You can take it to independent garage but not the smaller one type. Better take it to VW specialist there are few in Al quoz. Capital Auto (3476664) is good, tried them once and they are professional for VW. For comparing pricing you will at least save 40-50% than dealership pricing. For DSG gear oil better check the manual on what service interval u need to change and go by the book, that's better.

if its oil changing get a mobil 1 engine oil and go to a petrol station they can change the oil for you.
