The convoy list can be found below: As mentioned before, this will be a gentle overlanding drive, not a dune-bashing drive. The aim is to enjoy the scenery, cross some dunes, and take it easy. We will be using Walkie Talkie Radio Channel 2: 446.031 Mhz @Haneef Thayyil@Abhilash Kottakkalif you have no walkie-talkie or did not program it yet, no worries i will provide a spare radio that you can use for this time. An offroad-flag is usually mandatory to have on your vehicle. As this is your first drive with us, we can make a one-time exception if you do not have one yet. However please get this sorted as soon as possible. Make sure to watch the Absolute Newbie briefing video posted here on the drive topic to ensure you are prepared. When you arrive at the location you can start deflating to 15psi. If you need help with that we will definitely be nearby to assist you. I usually arrive well in advance. Congratulations @Benjamin for joining the Support Team with Carnity Offroad Club. Looking forward to seeing you grow further and helping others to learn the art of offroading in a safe environment. Please make sure your Carnity user profile is always updated with all the latest Emergency contact details. SUPPORT TEAM Pre-requisite 1) Minimum 10 any level "Carnity" drives are required after your Intermediate promotion to become eligible for the Support Team. Once you decide to join Team Carnity to excel further with your off-roading, people, and commanding skills, you will be extensively trained by the whole Team Carnity from Expert - Marshal - Crew at various stages by supporting different levels drives. Activities for Support Team Members Support different Marshals and Crew at Newbie level drives to demonstrate: Your ability and willingness to support new offroaders. Ability to gain control of commanding situations. And clear communication skills to help manage the convoy. Possible progress toward becoming an Advisor Once you have proved to be a regular Supporting Team member and have supported different trip leads on several Newbie and Fewbie drives, we will gather your periodic feedback. Based on this feedback and reviews you might receive an invitation to become a Carnity Advisor for further advancement within our community. You will also need to have completed a minimum of 10 Intermediate Level drives, and be a regular club member (minimum supporting 6 Newbie or Fewbie drives per quarter) to become eligible. Being invited to an Advisor role means we put our faith in you as a passionate club member who displays maturity and passion to carry your knowledge on to new off-roaders who are still progressing through the ranks.

DRIVE DESCRIPTION Welcome to Carnity Off road Club Fewbie drive, meeting in Abu Dhabi and ending in Dubai, this is an inter emirates crossing and will be a little challenging in terms of difficulty as the route will be driving against the slip face from southeast to northwest. Please make sure from the beginning of the week that your vehicle is fully ready especially as the ambient temp is rising, please ensure your off-road gear is as per your rank. Expect all sorts of terrain from technical to longer range dunes as well as wide sabkhas to cross. It will be very important to get ensure you are well rested the night before as you will need it to keep focus and attention, to ensure we maintain a good pace due to the amount of time spent driving. Couple of Notes Note 1: Please keep an extra hour buffer in case of any delays. Note 2: It is advisable not to join this drive if it is your first Fewbie. Note 3: it is advisable not to bring passengers not accustomed to long drives (85 km plus) or known to develop motion sickness. Stay tuned for more info toward the end of the week. Mandatory off-road gears: Tire deflator, tire pressure gauge, compressor, walkie-talkie radio, off-road flag, shovel, first-aid kit, Tow Rope, 2 Shackles and fire extinguisher. LIMITED SPOTS AVAILABLE This drive is limited to 10 cars only. RSVP will close on Friday - 12 PM. Please withdraw your RSVP, if you find you are unable to join, so your spot can be taken by others in the waitlist. If the RSVP is full, you can add your name to the waitlist, if an RSVP attendee removes themselves, you will be moved from the waitlist to the RSVP list as an attendee. A convoy list will be sent out the day prior to the drive. Latecomers will be returned back - Without any exceptions. Members without RSVP will be returned back - Without any exceptions. Please share your vehicle details - Make, Model, Color, and Year. Montero sport, 2023, red Do you have any prior off-road experience? If yes, pls share details. No. Confirm your vehicle has front and rear tow hooks/eyelets. Yes. Inbuild ones and I have D schacle to connect. This is enough right? Confirm you have essential minimum gears to start off with - 1. Off road flag , 2. Two way programmable radio 3. Deflator to deflate tyres upon arrival and 4. Compressor to inflate after the drive. Yes I have the neccessary gear. I watched all the videos. Looking forward to join.
