Great drive today, and we managed to reach Al Ajban ! The convoy was compact and motivated, and despite some bushes around, the conditions were excellent today. We started close to where we stopped the drive 2 weeks ago, so we had a nice continuity for the drivers who attended both drives. We had a nice mix of technical and long range dunes, spiced up with higher dunes in the middle, with deep bowls and narrow ridges. a few long ridges also, where it was important to keep the balance of the car. Very well managed every one adapting to the different conditions. @Sandeep Nayar well driven today, don't hesitate to give gas for the climbs, and work on the flow and anticipation. @RiadJL continuously improving with the 392, work on your lines for the long side slopes, as you are still fishtailing from time to time. @Batuhan Kulac easy drive for you today. @Nizar Shawwa, great driving also, thank you for the sweep. @Cesar Chacon, big thank you for an excellent 2nd lead, rerouting when needed and following guidance. Enjoy the rest of the weekend, and see you soon4 points

Dear Desrtnauts last minute inputs for the Last-Minute Drive. It has been designed to provide a leisurely afternoon, pursuing gazelles in the new green pastures of Qudra's natural reserve, and oryx, if lucky, in one of their major feeding grounds, near to the National Guard's barracks close to Abu Dhabi's border. We hope to drive until 30 minutes prior to the sunset, across a relatively easy terrain, save a few technical areas, with closer and tighter dunes. We'll enjoy some tea and coffee near one of the many palm groves. If you choose to bring family and friends, please make sure they do not suffer from seasickness (especially little ones), as the terrain will be quite uneven in places. If anybody usually does suffer from it, please have them take a remedy. The meeting point will be just after exiting the Qudra Last Exit's ADNOC gas station (where you may refuel), in the parking area in front of the Spicy Village restaurant. The convoy order below has been designed to have a more experienced member in front of each Newbie, so that the Newbies may be tutored in terms of lines, approaches and speed by the higher ranked drivers: @Andrew John Melvill in Second Lead @Emmanuelle Ifrah at #3 @nithish468 at #4 @J-P L at #5 @Giacomo at #6 @Victor Socaciu at #7 @Abhilash Kottakkal at #8 @Jon L at @9 and @Ishak in Sweep. See you all tomorrow afternoon, in time for a quick departure after 4:00 PM.3 points

Dear desert wanderers @Jon L, @Gary F, @J-P L, @Mark B, @Giacomo & @Benjamin thank you all for being on time this morning that meant we could get on with the briefing whilst it was pleasantly warm and not roasting hot. We managed to cover 53 km's which is amazing for a newbie drive and given the few stops we had is testament to the driving skills that everyone showed off today. Bottom line is you guys drove fantastically well in our newbie/fewbie drive so a big well done to all. A big shout out to my two second leads @Jon L and @J-P L guys performed brilliantly, giving plenty of room for me to be able to get to the radio and give you guys instructions as and when the need arose. You both drove brialliantly even when we picked up the level a tad so please take away from this the confidence you gained in your cars and yourselves. Thanks and great job guys. @Giacomo hope you had fun on this newbie drive, your drove really well I do not remember hearing any instructions from the support team to correct your lines so well done to you. @Gary F and @Mark B thanks for the support today, as always a pleasure to have you both in the convoy leaves me little to nothing to do as you guys are more than capable of handling almost any situation that arises. great job and thank again. @Benjamin great job sweeping mate, did not really here from you much in the drive except to tell me all was good at the back, so I hope you enjoyed the drive relaxing at the back, always good having you in sweep means that I do not have to worry at all about the rear of the convoy. Thanks everyone for the amazing morning drive! @Davie Chase always a pleasure to join in on your drives today I had a pleasant and quiet drive as junior supervisor 😉 I’ll look forward to the next one with you mate. Didn’t need to talk much so I could enjoy each and every dune. @Gary F and @Mark B Amazing support guys both of you are becoming great support members 💪 meaning I didn’t have to worry about a single refusal as you had it covered. @Giacomo amazing driving mate absolutely no complaints from me keep up the great work 💪💪 I was watching closely behind with each dune you tackled @Jon L I saw the dedication you had to learn your car which is amazing to see. You took all feedback positively and more importantly incorporated it into your driving style. Good job mate keep up the great work💪💪 @J-P L from reading everyone’s comments you drove amazingly! Definitely seeing improvement with your driving style tailored to your car Jimny power 💪💪2 points

Thank you @Davie Chase, @Mark B, @Gary F for your leadership and support along this awesome drive ! It's always a pleasure to learn by your side, and boy; ridding these ridges was so much fun !! I'll make sure to ease on the breaking reflexes, which got me in some troubles, and instead use the throttle to control my speed in a proactive rather than reactive manner. Until the next ride, Hi5 🙌!2 points

Thanks @Davie Chase as always a total pleasure! Always Great to see @Gary F and @Benjamin fantastic to drive with you guys. @Jon L great to see your skills growing and really love the way you take the feedback so openly and learn more each week! Maybe worry about those fuses for when you’re totally at ease with your car in the sand 😬 @J-P L great drive! You’re getting to know how to get the most out of your Jimny and you showed some good skills today and instincts to turn down when necessary which is great. @Giacomo as Davie said great drive, you drove behind and in front of me today and was a pretty solid drive from what I saw, so keep doing what your doing mate 👌🏻 Was actually cool being a small convoy being able to really look at each driver, @Davie Chase think swapping the convoy around a bit was a good exorcise and would be good to do it more 😊 hope to see you all again soon and enjoy your weekend1 point
