Dear Desertnauts a few inputs for to prepare tomorrow's trip. We'll start at Faqa's sabkha, to be reached by turning right on the Dubai-Al Ain's road, shortly before arriving in Faqa. From here we'll cross an interesting group of short and packed dunes, with some taller crests, just overlooking the southern side of the Solar Tower. We'll then reach a sabkha, from which we'll enter a series of low, long dunes, separated by a couple of smaller sabkhas, leading to our entry to Little Sweihan. Here we'll ride up and down the full length of the cordons, until we'll stop to enjoy the sunset. The exit will take place through a sand track leading to the Innovation Center's glass pyramid at Solar Park. The cobvoy order at the moment is the following: @Andrew John Melvill in Second Lead @khlief at #3 @Martin M at #4 @JohanE at #5 @Sandeep Nayar at the Center @Giacomo at #7 @Zak_ at #8 @nithish468 at #9 and @mahesh in Sweep Bring plenty of drinks, and double check your car's fluids, to prevent any issues of overheating. @Ale Vallecchi I’m really grateful for your invite, but this timing is a little bit off for me. I have joined @Frederic’s morning drive ✌️✌️

@Gaurav have added myself to the waitlist as I may have work interfere with the FB+ drive on Saturday morning. Will confirm a bit later in the week once I am certain. @Gaurav I can confirm that I will attend the drive on Saturday evening.

@Frederic thanks for leading us on another great drive! Some of the sand tracks through the new grassland of Dubai were quite reminiscent of the sand tracks in northern Botswana! But some fun play areas did emerge from the jungle as promised! @Simon D and @Jeandre Bezuidenhout was good to meet you and have some chats. To everyone on the convoy thanks for a great evening in the sand, see you all soon!
