Drive RSVP closed @AlexM @Andrew John Melvill @MUSTAFA hussain @Marek @JeromeFJ thank you all for joining the drive. Checklist : 1. Please ensure to be on time at meeting point. 2. Get lots and lots of rest the previous day. The more the better as Liwa will not only challenge our vehicle but our mind as well. 3. Ensure 4x4 is well serviced recently and all the lubes and fluids are topped up. 4. Arrive at meeting point with full fuel tank (MUST) . Last ADNOC station https://maps.app.goo.gl/VGiGrpoYbh6Eca2y7 5. Spare tire should be in good working condition. Ensure both front and back tow points are in good condition. 6. Bring lots of water (at least 5 ltr per person) breakfast, lunch, snacks, energy bar, cookies, nuts, etc etc for yourself and your passengers. We shall be having breaks in between the drive. 7. Bring garbage bags along to carry your trash. Littering in the desert is strictly prohibited. 8. Convoy position and radio frequency will be announced at meeting point. Drive Plan : FB+ Exploration towards Murquab and then head towards Lisalli Technicals - Time permitting. What to bring along: Loads of water, snacks (for yourself), smiles, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn. RECOMENDED OFF-ROAD GEAR: Tire deflator & Tire pressure gauge Compressor (MANDATORY) Walkie-talkie radio (MANDATORY) Off-road flag (MANDATORY) Shovel, Tow Rope & 2 Shackles First-aid kit Fire extinguisher LIMITED SPOTS AVAILABLE This drive is limited to 10 cars only. If the RSVP is full, you can add your name to the waitlist, once anyone drops, you will be moved to the RSVP list. RSVP will close a day prior to preparing a convoy list. Latecomers will be returned - Without any exceptions. Members without RSVP will be returned - Without any exceptions. Please withdraw your RSVP, if you aren't joining, so your spot can be taken by others. Repeated no-show members after RSVP will have their account suspended for a month. PLEASE RSVP ON THE CALENDAR

Hi @davie c smooth operator @DP1011 @Benje_Junior I wish I could join with @DP1011 for the Fewbie+ drive but unfortunately I'm not able to join for the morning drive tomorrow as I will be traveling back to Dubai tonight, will be reaching after 8.00 in th morning if as planned.

Unfortunately we can’t take everyone here however @DP1011 has kindly offered to take you on a FB+ morning drive Saturday 30th of November from 0730 to 1100 If there is any interest please reply to this post or like it. And I’ll let DP know. This goes for other FB+ drivers @Giacomo @frederic demolder @Haneef Thayyil @Shiju Raju if this option sounds interesting let me know, otherwise we can make it another FB drive if that’s the preferred preference much appreciated, Ben

@khlief unfortunately you won’t be able to join along with the FB+ convoy as your still a Fewbie driver. However once you apply for FB+ after your 10th Fewbie drive we will gather your periodic feedback and will continue appropriately. thank you for understanding mate @frederic demolder no worries mate. Hi @Benje_Juniorand @DP1011 will it be the same route?

If the noise + jerk only comes while shifting from D to R and R to D, its gear mount or engine mount needs to be checked first and replace if they are torn or even have a hairline crack. If the noise continues, while driving as well then it could be something else.

Apologies I am dropping off the convoy. Maybe someone else can join instead.

I have heard a similar noise, mine seems to be worn out rear diff bushes. Getting them changed on Saturday. Will see if that solves it on my car.
