Some small pointers for tomorrow: 1) Please try to arrive by 6:45, so you have time to deflate, set up your flag, and pour yourself a cup of coffee if you like If you need help with deflating don't be afraid to ask. There will be supporting team members and myself walking around to assist you when needed. 2) We will be using Channel 4 on our walkie talkie. That is 446.081 Mhz. If you have any issues with setting up your radio, have a look at the drive topic here. We can also help out tomorrow if needed. 3) When you arrive, you can start deflating your tires to 14-15psi if you have HT (highway tires). In case of All Terrain (AT) tires you can deflate a bit further down to 12psi. See you all tomorrow morning !

  3. Dear Desert Drivers Thank you for joining the drive today. The short convoy and the good ratio FB vs more experienced drivers gave us the flexibility to explore the Nahel area, and the possibility to try a few challenges. Passing by the lake at the beginning, we started with the nice open rolling dunes as a warm-up, with a few crossings to get a flavor of what was going to come. Then we arrived in a high dunes area, an opportunity for turning around a soft sand bowl, high climbs, high crossings with a view, and steep descent. After the break, we joined a technical area, all going well until at a point we had 3 cars stuck at the same time. Opportunity for the support team to demonstrate different recovery methods. Crossing the sabkha we went into an empty stretch of technical to medium size dunes, with very soft sand, with again very nice desert views. After a short break , a last portion of tech dunes and a sabkha run took us to a relaxing sand track and to the exit. @Wayne Momsen, @Yury @Ozgu, congratulations for a first fewbie drive. A promising start into this new level. @Andrei S, thank you for the second lead, @Rob S and @Ishak, big thank you for the support, @frederic demolder, thank you for being part of the team today. Enjoy the rest of the weekend and see you soon !

  8. @DP1011 My car broke down unexpectedly yesterday morning and is now in the garage. I’m hoping they’ll have it fixed by the end of the day. Since there’s no one on the waitlist, I’ll hold onto my spot until I know more.

  10. Hi @Simon D, Unfortunately, I won’t be able to join the drive tomorrow as I got into an accident earlier. A reckless driver in a hurry rammed into me.
