  1. Hi @Zahid Sharif @khurramm @Danie @Myrko @Yurybel @vinayak n @Mei Ling @Hani crest king @nithish468 A bit of late drive report 🤣... Thanks a ton for joined this drive! Honestly, for a summer drive in Sweihan, this was a pretty big convoy, and that made it even more fun. We kicked things off with some smooth sideies and small ridge riding on a super clean track, warming up nicely before reaching our first break point at a scenic hill, perfect spot to chill and laugh a bit. After that, we pushed toward the higher dunes near the Pillion Track. Looked tempting, but we decided to leave that adventure for the next drive 😅. Around there, @nithish468 had to head out early, while the rest of us carried on toward Nagra Hill. Instead of the usual climb, we circled around and attacked it from the backside. Some of you wanted to reattempt but we decided to keep it for the next drive 😅again. I owe you for this @Mei Ling. We wrapped up with a smooth and scenic exit track, wrapping things up smoothly. Shoveling and pulling are part of learning, however we did not have a chance for this, as everyone drove like pros! 🫡 Big thanks to the support @Frederic @J-P L @JeromeFJ @Mehmet Volga for always having our backs. Can’t wait to hit the sand with you all again on the next one.

  8. Dragracers have immense power with explosive starts and insane grip (sticky tires after a burn out, sometimes even sticky stuff on the pavement. Don’t know if you ever walked on an official drag strip, but sometimes you feel it stick under your shoes), meaning that sometimes the traction asphalt-tire doesn’t break before the tire-rim traction gives a little, that’s why they have beadlocks in the higher classes. Google-knowledge says ‘from 800hp on’. Not likely on loose sand indeed, with less power and having it distributed over 4 wheels. You’d suffer more from it in 2wd accelerating away at the traffic lights. So it’s a very unlikely source of smell indeed, but as you mentioned it I guess one chalk line is a simple check. Nice video showing the wrinkles in the tires in slo-mo. Soft sidewalls anyone? https://youtu.be/gXp2QgY1OB8 We’re wandering off-topic a bit 🤣
