Thankfully @Ale Vallecchihas decided to step up and lead this drive. Starting time will be also shifted to 8AM due to his travels and arriving late the evening before.   2. DRIVE DESCRIPTION This time we will mostly focus on very tight technical dunes, where momentum, deflation, and steering input will need to be optimized. Bring your shovels boys and girls! We request every member that joins this drive to go through the below information and strictly follow these guidelines, etiquettes and responsibilities. MUST READ AND COMPLY Environmental Policy Offroad Flag Guideline Two Way Radio Guideline Off road Driving Etiquette's Emergency details for all off-roaders Off Road Driving - Roles & Responsibilities DRIVE DETAILS Level: Fewbie and above When: 12 Oct 2025, Sunday Meeting time: 8 AM - Sharp (Without any exceptions) Meeting Point: https://maps.app.goo.gl/uiLF1M3CAHq7wjov5 Approximate finish time: 11.30AM approx. Type of Car: Any proper 4x4 with front and back tow hooks and 8-10 inches of ground clearance. What to bring along: Loads of water, snacks (for yourself), smiles, enthusiasm and willingness to learn. Mandatory off-road gears: Tire deflator, tire pressure gauge, compressor, walkie-talkie radio, off-road flag, shovel, first-aid kit and fire extinguisher. LIMITED SPOTS AVAILABLE This drive is limited to 10 cars only. If the RSVP is full, you can add your name to the waitlist. Once anyone drops, you will be moved to the RSVP list. RSVP will close a day prior to preparing a convoy list. Latecomers will be returned back - Without any exceptions. Members without RSVP will be returned back - Without any exceptions.   3. You are right, the Duelers are not really made for sharp rocks. And yes, STOCK is less headache Join us on one of the Newbie club drives

  4. Thanks Federic, I appreciate your advice. My off road trips are equally sand, wadis and mountains and, whilst I’m aware that the Duelers are OK in the sand, I’m not sure how hard wearing they will be over sharp rocks. I am thinking that the BFG’s might be a better alternative in this environment. I have been thinking that the 275x65R20 might be a possibility, but I have read various conflicting opinions about them rubbing on full lock. Once you start modifying the stock vehicles then all sorts of issues start to arise and we end up spending far more than we had originally planned for. I have looked into 18” rims, 2” lifts etc etc but my budget was spiraling out of control. Therefore I have decided to stay with stock everything for now but hopefully having a slightly higher spec tyre. Thanks again for your input, much appreciated.
