Just reached home a little while back and i wanted first pen down my first thoughts after this event and a bit of a short overview of how it went. After a few days of sharing lots of information with everyone who had signed up through a temporary Whatsapp channel that was created, we started to get a glimpse of what to expect, and the plan of the organizing team was daring and ambitious. Since @Zedwas behind a lot of it, i had full faith in the concept and knew that after all, this was done for the cause. The off-roading part today came second, and that's how it was. Our entire Carnity family came fully prepped, with practically all vehicles decorated, and got themselves dressed up for the occasion. The Spanish energy, with the families of @Aserand @Diego, and also now @Pavito Al, was uplifting, and every one of you kept a big smile, even though the waiting became a bit long at times. I am so proud of all of you and our entire Carnity club for being able to show up for this good cause, and that nearly everyone joined in the Dubai venue as well. Imagine for the Abu-Dhabi residents how much they had driven that day. Once the ribbon was formed, we had about 45mins of off-roading time left, so we decided to merge both convoys and go for a small spin only. We had some good fun in the nearby dunes, but kept it short and sweet, so we could all inflate and head back to the Dubai venue on time. The farm itself was very nice, and slowly but surely the other clubs also arrived. As mentioned, there were prizes for: Best Dressed Male - Went to @Luke K P as we all expected, but as Luke had to leave a bit earlier, @Diego collected the prize Best Dressed Female - Went to @Ana her friend, well deserved!!! Best decorated vehicle - Went to a nice SWB pajero from our ME4x4 friends. Also well deserved!! For myself personally @Krinesh his decoration was absolutely stunning, with such beautiful details. But everyone really did their best. The main raffle prize was a set of Beadlock Rims, which went to @Aser 🤑 The main focus of the event of course was trying to bring awareness about early testing for breast cancer, and the organization did a fantastic job to keep the focus on this part. I happily forgive the small organizational hiccups along the way. I know that every one of the organizing committee worked so hard with sleepless nights to make this happen, and they deserve a warm applause. I hope we can do a second edition next year with more convoys. This was an event of high complexity to bring so many clubs together under one goal. It was great to familiarize and rekindle with old friends like @Mahmoud Taha and others. Hey there good people - Happy Sunday! My name is Rajeev. I've lived here in Dubai for the last 12 years. Never done any "off-roading" during my time here but have been munching on it for years ... but I hope it's time now! A couple of weeks ago, I set out to look for a "manual" wrangler but soon realized it's easier said than done. Pivoted and took the plunge this weekend - a '23 Rubicon! I'd love to learn the desert and do a few rides. Figured I'd let my stock jeep settle in for a few 100Ks before signing up for a course with you good Carnity people! Been reading through some of the posts here - and excited! I hope I do run into some of you at some point. -Rajeev

Post-Drive Report Thank you everyone for being ready on time! 🙌 We met at the briefing point as scheduled, got organized quickly, and were moving within 15 minutes — great start to the afternoon! We entered the Murquab desert via sand tracks and navigated through some technical terrain. The main challenge was the bushy patches, but we had some nice crests to ride along which gave us a break and added variety to the drive. Our first play area was a lot of fun — hill climbs, side sloping, and ridge riding kept the energy up and gave everyone a chance to enjoy and practice their skills. On the way to the next section, we crossed a sabkha and took the long way around due to a group in the middle, possibly doing falconry or something similar. The second play area had decent terrain for layered navigation — up and down hill climbs with some technical lines to follow. At the next sabkha, we took a short break. It was here that @Warbs reported a mechanical noise from the front left of his Jeep. After some troubleshooting, it appeared to be related to the front differential when in 4Hi, but not in 2WD. We decided to exit him from the drive, which worked out well since we were already heading toward the pylon track to Qudra. He was able to continue safely to his exit point. We then entered the Qudra Secret Dunes — a beautiful stretch of mostly clean dunes that allowed for some excellent sidies and ridge riding with a nice fast pace. Everyone drove really well, maintaining good pace and safe spacing. ✅ No stucks, and only a handful of refusals — all quickly assisted by @Mike M. 💪. 🙏 Big thanks to: @Michael asir as our Second Lead, keeping the right amount of distance and time to react to last second course corrections advised. @Mike M. in Center Forward, for assisting refusals and keeping the middle strong. @J-P L in Sweep, for watching the rear and ensuring we stayed together. 👏 Great drive, great teamwork, and great fun. Today is a sad day and a happy one at the same time, the Jeep is SOLD! My beloved Red Rubicon who has been a steadfast companion over four unforgettable years. Together, we conquered 184 thrilling drives with Carnity, beginning with a masterclass led by none other than the legend himself, @Frederic. To leading 74 adventures across the sands as a trip lead, this remarkable machine was more than just a vehicle, it was a partner in every challenge, and every triumph. Crowning it all, a desert championship trophy stands as a testament to the journeys we shared and the milestones we achieved. I am and will be forever grateful for the memories, the lessons, and the legacy we built together. Sad because this is the end of an Era for me personally, as i can no longer lead or indeed drive in the desert and specifically for the club that has been my home for 4 years of off roading @Carnity. Happy because my wonderful companion will still be seen in the desert, it will still be seen at Carnity, and it will assist another newbie to hopefully follow in my footsteps, (and i believe they have already signed up for membership). I really do hope that the new owner gets as much pleasure as i had from the car and i also hope that they do not get the same scares ( @Gaurav you will know what i mean, and anyone else who was on the particular Fb drive i am referring to ) that i also had, although that does make you realize the resilience of the Jeep. I want to extend my deepest thanks to every single member of Carnity that I have had the privilege to drive with as well as the absolute honor to lead over the past few years. The spirit of this club, the camaraderie, coupled with the eagerness to learn have been nothing short of inspiring. I would not trade this experience for anything… except maybe to have started it many years earlier! Thank you all for making this journey truly life changing and unforgettable. Your support and patience as I learned to navigate the sands, assist Carnity's exceptional leads, and eventually step into a lead role myself helping others begin their own desert adventures has meant the world to me. What a journey it’s been. From a humbled student to supporter to leader, every step shaped by the incredible people in this amazing club. As for the club and the trip leads (to many to mention but i will call out @Gaurav, @Frederic and @Srikumar) as you guys have supported me and nurtured me and been the most patient of Owners/Crew that anyone could have wished for. The Club also has many other leads who have helped me become what i hope what an inspiration to others to move along this same path. Bottom line is that Carnity is exceptional in all aspects of what it sets out to achieve, moreover, it fits nicely into my mindset of a structured process driven approach to off roading that nurtures a remarkable safety culture that is outstanding and a pleasure to be a part of. Thank you to all the Carnity Trip leads both experienced and up and coming you all make the club what it is. Nothing else to say really except i will miss you all and i hope that if i am ever in Dubai i may get a hired Jeep and may if allowed join a drive as a flying sweep Heres hoping See you all somewhere someday
