This is the revised plan: I marked the whole Rahal Desert Challenge area in the red polygon. I definitely want to stay out of there. Our camp site (NEW CAMP) is close to the exit, so once we pack up we head onto the E15 towards Arada and fuel up in Khanoor before making our way back home. If time permits we can play around a bit in the dunes around the camp site. These are similar to what you can find in the Yellow truck Area. Definitely not small dunes.4 points

It was a great drive with great people indeed. But hereโs a question, where did the hair at the back of my head go? ๐ this angle makes it really obvious3 points

Think you're gonna have to update your name to @WhiteRhinoEmanuel or something to stop these mix ups ๐ I've made the mistake a few times myself @Emanuel2 points

@Asif Hussain, will be awesome if you can make it. On day 2 (Sunday) teams start between 09h00 and 10h30 with around 50 to 60km of driving. Finish time terrain and stucks dependent.2 points

Thank you so much @Theo Prado for taking the time to write this. Messages like these genuinely mean a lot to everyone behind the scenes. What youโre seeing on the calendar is the result of many people quietly putting in effort week after week. From Experts to Marshals, Senior Marshals, and Crew, every level plays a role in making these experiences possible. Planning, scouting, safety checks, recoveries, convoy flow, mentoring, creativity and execution all come together long before a drive even goes live. The variety you mentioned is exactly what happens when passionate people are given space to contribute ideas and take ownership. Different styles, formats, and concepts are born from various personalities and experiences, and that diversity is one of Carnityโs biggest strengths. Equally important are the members who show up, support, participate, and share feedback. A strong community is built not just by those leading at the front, but also by those enjoying the journey, learning, and encouraging others along the way. On behalf of Team Carnity, thank you for the appreciation and for being part of this journey. Itโs this kind of positive energy that keeps everyone motivated to do better, try new things, and keep raising the bar. Hereโs to many more drives, ideas, adventures, and memories ahead. ๐2 points

Thanks for your amazing post @Theo Prado! I agree, we are truly blessed with a fantastic family of off-roaders like you. As leads it encourages us to step up to the plate and keep delivering the best drives and weekend experiences! See you soon in the sand!2 points

Looking to upgrade the jeep. The new ones only come in 2.0 ltr 4 cylinder while the old ones are 3.6 ltr 6 cylinder. Is any one driving a 2.0. Please share your opinions on the same.1 point

Update (maybe useful for other peoples) So, my spare was actually a tricky one. It was holding 30 psi Without load but, when we put it under load, it would start loosing the air. Even the tyre shop wouldn't believe me that my spare was bad as it was holding air without load when they checked. Only upon requesting them to dip inside the water tub did they notice that there was minor leak where the tread meets the tyre. So it turns out that Only the portion of my tyre which was exposed to the sun (I am missing the top cover for the spare tyre holder), actually deteriorated. And it was only evident under load. Happened with me, but could be with anyone else too. Please have your spare tyre checked properly if it is a older. I bought new spare tyre, new tyre for the beadlock as it had a ruprture, 1 new bottlejack and 1 new air jack. @Luke K P Should i still carry a hydraulic jack? Confused if I need one since i have 2 other new jacks now.1 point

Thanks @Luke K P for the advice. Similar advice was given by a lot of people from other offroad groups to keep the Beadlocks and enjoy minimum-poppit drives.1 point

Sorry to hear this. I had to pass around Hessa via the 311 ramp and Hessa was blocked there and backed up.1 point

Hi @Emanuel. I don't know if i'll arrive on time. All roads next to my house are closed due to a cycling event (hessa street and d54). I only have one exit but is full of traffic. I'll update as soon as I have a proper eta.1 point

Good morning everyone! Hope you are excited for our drive this afternoon. Please let me know if your circumstances have changed and you cannot join the drive. This will allow our Wait Listed drivers a chance to join todays drive. I will be posting the convoy order in the next few hours. You are up early too! ๐ It's been a full on week at work and I'm itching to hit the sand this afternoon.1 point

What is Overlanding? The term overlanding refers to a self-reliant overland journey that focuses on long-distance travel through remote areas. Unlike off-roading, which is more about tackling rough terrains for fun, overlanding is about the journey itself. Think of it as a road trip with an added layer of adventure โ one where you rely on your own driving skills, equipment, and preparation to reach remote locations.1 point

A special SHOUT OUT to all the offroad leads, marshals and support team! @Gaurav, you got a great thing and team going! The past few months there has been some really awesome and innovate drives on the calendar which should be celebrated and recognized! We are getting access to some great stuff vs just bashing the dunes!!! (Of course there is more than enough bashing for the bashing crew ) The fewbie mountain drive I sadly tried but failed to make! Weekday quickies The night drives - looking forward to this years Ramadan specials and joining - overcome the fear of the night) The scenic/ across several emirates drives The recent 2 day trip to LIWA (I will aspire to reach fewbie+ this year to be in contention to join for the next trip) The 100km newbie challenge this weekend! Awesome drive!!! The camping gear sit down! Fantastic idea! Lens lovers! Remember seeing a picnic and sunset drive combo recently! Some extreme adventure for the intermediates - not for me... but what a drive, looking at the photos! Development of new leads with new ideas!!! Did I seeing we are getting into some dancing A few hikes with drive combo's I am sure I missed a few of the great drives - tag them in the comments!!! I am one of the quitter members sitting comfortably in the middle of the convey and enjoying his memberships, (not as regularly as I would like ๐). However, felt something trigger my reaction this morning after seeing again some exciting drives lined up this weekend! Let the innovation continue!!! Looking forward to renewing my membership next month! (Did not tag anyone, didn't want to forget anyone! Well done team @Carnity!!!1 point
