And that one thing with self leveling is enough to spoil the party, if not kill you, not-so-luddite dude.
He is talking from every week experience seeing tons of cars with all sort of gizmos from this century and not just flying sim from couch.
Which like I said isn't too much of an issue. Just replace the shocks on the cheap. You won't even get a light on the dash.
And then you should also listen to your buddy and sell everything you have and buy only vehicles from the 1990s

When you're thinking about Infinity you're bringing in lots of computers. From my point of view computers and electronics don't go well with sand. I would enjoy it on road, but not really use it off road.
Don't listen to this ludite! Lol he has an aversion to anything made in this century.
The Infiniti version has nothing more than different styling in the front end better interior materials like leather, wood and more comfy seats and a better sound system. depending on the options rear entertainment and autoself leveling in the rear, which if you find a hassle can swap out for regular Armada shocks. Drive train components are basically identical.

And I have seen it otherwise, from a colleague who clocked 200k on it when I join his ride to AD and had plenty of time to talk. On road reliability (let alone off-road) and shaky and flaky US standard interior was big turn off.
Yes agreed the interior is lack luster and cheap American plastic ( maybe the Infiniti version is better but I don't know )
But mechanically other than a few known issues it pretty alright

I can't see any pics? Maybe that's what it really is. Because Mr Bushy hasn't produced a new worthwhile car in over a decade now.

320 hp / 2.5 ton = 128 hp/ton is a very good power to weight ratio for offroad.
However being LWB and american build quality is totally against to use for offroad after 12 years of production.
I personally haven't seen one to be used in desert on a """"""regular basis""""" before ppl start jumping up and down.
Reliability wise it's pretty solid from what I've heard. All forums say this as well as a couple of people I know who have them and use it off road regularly.

How about infinity QX 56 around 2008 which looks like available around 20K
Some people hate I personally like maybe I'm biased because I was part of the team that did the desert testing during development phase for its original platform the Armada.
But it's big, but feels very light of it's size and it's pretty fast on the road for it's size and powerful in the dunes. But wouldn't recommend it for a person new to the desert

Now you make more sence @desertdude. Hitting the international flavours. Maybe you can do an arabic song from say Miami.
I love the Kuwaiti band Miami. I was actually looking into that or maybe Sandy the Persian artist out of L.A and his Bandari music.

LOL lame dude that's seriously lame!
Good thing you don't live anywhere close to me. I'd give an earful to anyone making a racquet at 9 in the night!!!
I have this lousy neighbor who bought a full bedu lowered, turbo charged badrol with a loud exhaust. And can't get it registered because of the lockdown. So it has no plates.
Starts it up late in the evening and keeps reving it for a good 5 mins everyday.
I've gone out and given him a few dirty looks but that hasn't helped. And I don't want to say anything because he works in one of those three lettered departments

I was hoping they were going to pay me to take some petrol away from them!.
On a serious note I don't see it coming below 1.50 and I doubt it will even go so low

...and they're trying to replace them all with electric cars. Good luck with that- or at least, good luck with trying to do that in less than about 100 years.
Took us around that much to get to a billion cars so another 100 till we get electric seems right

To be honest, didn't sound quite as good as the previous one. But not bad at all.
Thanks, all feedback negative or positive is appreciated

Anything with a live drummer is a huge PITA to do specially from the 90s back. Specially rock since they were recorded without a click track and the timing of the beat keeps drifting and you literally have to manually adjust every quarter note or at best every bar to bring it back into sync.

If that’s what your mother says, then that’s what it means. If she is anything like my mother, I will have to agree with her that the sky is green and the sea is red. Saying yes and smiling is the key to an easy life.
Not just mom's but all women are like that

I would say the Jimny is the hot hatch version of the proper 4x4 world.
It's small efficient does what's it's supposed to on a budget but it can really never compete with or replace the proper big guns.

My question is how do you transfer the car to your name or buy a car from out of town and get Dubai plates for it nowadays?
