  13. What Fredy mentioning is the cleaning after every drive will soon become a headache. I too tried and given up after a couple of months. Once I forgot to clean for few drives and that tear off the filter and K&N sent me free replacement (great) but month later my engine died. Possibly (I think) due to sand entering the system and causing all the damage due to my ignorance of not cleaning it after every drive. You have to take home the filter to clean under running water with the K&N detergent and let it air dry for few hours to oil again. Quite an overhead for free flow air filter tbh.
  14. These are the EXACT thing that we keep telling people to change or add mod ONLY when you identify such bottleneck. This way you differentiate the change to value it accordingly. Brilliant approach.
  15. Slight change in plan, again. Sri PCR test result came negative just now, so drive is on but with little delay. Drive will start at 10:15 PM Convoy Numbering 1. Srikumar - XJ 2. Hasan - LC @Hasan Wahlan 3. Kamal - Infinity @Kamal Fayad 4. Mustafa - Pajero @Mus_hus78 5. Ruan - Wrangler @Ruan van den Heever 6. Farooq - JGC @Farouq Owdeh 7. Vinod - Xterra @Tbone
  16. Very well said @Francois Germishuys winch should be the super duper last option and not the 1st, if anyone wish to grow in this extreme sport. Surprise to hear it has become a luxury option, lately. SAD. We off-road not only for driving pleasure but also to enjoy the challenge of getting unstuck and learning along the way with self-recoveries, shovel and tow-rope tugs. Yes winch are good when you are pressed for time in scorching heat of 55 degrees or all options exhausted then it's useful.

  21. I am absolutely looking forward for it. Man with a plan on Astro Photography are @Frederic and @Mikhail Lukichev.
  22. That's a very nice team spirit. Hope Brette can do some magic to keep everyone happy
  23. I agree with this as you need as max light (watt and lumen) as possible in front for driving. Side shooters are good for small range and you can add two more spot on front bumper left and right (optional) along with hood left and right (plenty). I would remove the light from front grill, to not to block air flow. Last but not least upgrade to higher amp battery and alternator.
  24. You will be the real winner my friend, to learn off-road skills on stock LC100. First it will make you a better off-roader. You will be rich with spare money. Surely drive every week. Surely drive back in the same car. Drive with complete peace of mind.
