  1. Restoring or keeping any old car alive require lot of patience, taste, money, free time and resourceful thinking.
  2. What a fantastic new year celebration and great turn out from amazing folks we had last night. I started little early and saw @sertac reached the meeting before anyone, so we both went to the new year spot to secure it by unloading all our stuff and asking our wives and kiddos to stay there until we get everyone from the meeting point. Except Adil and Roshan everyone showed up on time and we started from the meeting point after a quick brief to drive with inflated tires. Thanks @sertac and @Rahimdad for following the request of bringing the firewood but we wouldn't be able to run whole night bonfire with just two people firewood contribution. So we all decided to send one guy for the most difficult task on NYE to buy a firewood. On 31 Dec daytime itself, all firewood runs out so hoping to get something at night would be a difficult task. Thanks to @Shamil for accepting to take this challenging responsibility and hopping on several places until he found last 3 bags of firewood. Shamil seems like a man who doesn't accept - NO for an answer, well done buddy for saving everyone's new year with warmth and happy moments. Everyone brought the great food and amazing selection of drinks that keep on circulating through out the night and we all thoroughly enjoyed the music and live karaoke session by all of us. Even my 5 y/o sang Christmas songs twice. After the new year start @Shamil playing on guitar was a star attraction as when we all got tired and sat next to the bonfire and Shamil kept playing guitar for beautiful old songs that we all have grown up with. It was a very good walk down to memory lane, to remind us about our school and college beautiful days on the first day of new year. Thanks @tjsingh, @Roshy, @Sri, @Rahimdad, @Shamil and @sertac for wonderful time. Have a happy and blessed new year.
  3. Im in for a star gazing night, if anyone wanna join, lets post an event.
  4. I recently stumbled on this Kia Forte advert to compare with Lamborghini Aventador is really creative, clever and intelligent.
  5. Imagine doing an off-road drive till 10 PM with daylight, all off-roaders will go crazy here.
  6. There was a rumor few years back that AD red rose new plates have a chip that monitor your every move and issue you a ticket instantly. Thank god it was just a rumor that someone spread it, hope anyone rem that here.
  7. So that in the name of privacy they can charge for 5 days work when the car was sitting idle for 4 days.
  8. Nice topic Fred. Here is one of my favorite place from Delhi, purely because of its magnificent beauty, detailing and grandeur. Country: India City: New Delhi Description: The Lotus Temple, located in Delhi, India, is a Baháʼí House of Worship that was dedicated in December 1986. Notable for its flowerlike shape, it has become a prominent attraction in the city. Like all Baháʼí Houses of Worship, the Lotus Temple is open to all, regardless of religion or any other qualification.
  9. Here comes the wrath of LC pickup God now.......😱
  10. Few of my observations on this roll over: I think he didn't scouted the area before to do sidey or crossing attempting, as from the camera angle it was very clear to see the very soft sand pocket and slip face at the end. As he didn't anticipated that's why he slowed down in end and then with limited momentum he tried to climb the slip face and got bog down in soft sand to flip. If any one really wanted to be this adventurous then plan your exit before entering the dune and continue the momentum until you exit safely. And if encounter with soft patch like this give 200% throttle to test if you can cross, if not immediately steer down than waiting to see what gravity holds for you. His climbing speed and reaction time was very slow. He might not have deflated enough as many such LC and patrol pickup farm boi live in non-deflated or partial deflated (25 psi) mind set and when they do such crazy stuff and car sink in soft sand, they realize that but its too late. When car slowed down from 00:13-14 secs, I think he entered the soft patch as sand splash stopped at the same time. From there itself he should have exited or make second attempt with fully deflated tire and double the speed to ride and exit safely.
  11. Maybe to notify family as a preset number with location could be good move too after informing the authorities.

  13. When have you changed the gear oil and gear oil filter? As much as it sound so obvious, but small mistake in spec or fake filter from road side shop can cause lot of trouble. If you are 1% unsure, then as a first rule, buy original gear oil and gear oil filter from Nissan, not BM road shops (even) to rule out 100% oil and filter issue. If still issue persists, I highly recommend first researching on this tell-tale sign on pathy forums or groups to have a collective idea of why its happening. Second, show it to few "GEAR SPECIALIST" (not mech) and get their feedback. Just like you don't want to swap engine because of lazy mechanic can't open the broken plug, hope you rem that. @sertac have you rebuild the gear with all OEM parts or aftermarket parts? As gear builder always give you two options of OEM and first quality aftermarket parts.
  14. True Christmas Gift. Lamborghini sent a real Aventador for son to enjoy for few days.
  15. Love the masking tape idea. Simply GENIUS. Many including myself have got the custom cover for lights made for passing purposes only.
