  2. And @Senthil Kumar looks so cool smiling at @Benjamin
  3. In sand, in general recovery goes per below split: 75% self recovery with low gear, diff locks and driver skills. 20% with second car tow rope pull out. 5% winch.
  4. Removing the winch is a good idea and also after that you can look at removing this extra heavy bumper. If it is same as your profile pic, it's an Australian-style metal bumper for avoiding Kangaroo hits, as they mostly drive on flat sand. For dunes, you need the best power-to-weight ratio, being JK (slightly underpowered than JL), cutting the weight should be your top priority.

  11. The best option is to have heavy-duty springs (preferably Kings) and while at it, pick the one that comes with extra load capacity based on your requirements. I remember they come with 200 kg+ constant weight vs 500+ kg constant load. I am using 200 kg ones and noticed immediate difference than sagging or bouncing back. Keeping stock shock is intelligent, as on overlanding (long drives) comfort is much needed and often ignored subject with bone cracking ultra hard suspension setup. Tires are optional and your choice if you can/want to switch to 17 inches, offering an extra rubber to spread the load. Even with 18 inches, you can drive at variable PSI for overlanding. Higher the load - higher PSI in between 20-25 range.
  12. @Jon L @Cesar Chacon @Ahmed Farghaly @Martin Schwaiger you have been moved to the RSVP list, as @Imran Asghar also decided to support the drive. Please confirm your RSVP, if you still like to join for this Sunday morning dose.
  13. Hi @Cesar Chacon welcome to Carnity Off-road Club, and thanks for the self-declaration. I look forward to seeing you and your beautiful beast in action on Sunday. Coping @Mark B for his advice after the drive.

  19. Good luck Fredy, with whatever works for you, but truly sad to see this beast on sale. You have changed my perception of what all you can achieve with this LWB beast in sand with right set of skills instead of just brute force. It really suit your style, hope for more badrol soon in future, someday.
  20. @Melenany do you have any Saudi-based off-road club recommendations?
  21. Please find the convoy number. 22. @Ahmed Farghaly system added you by mistake when Mohit left, I have removed you from the RSVP as this is a Fewbie Plus drive, hence I can't accept Fewbies.
  23. @Julien Recan and @Faraz94 you have been moved to RSVP please confirm if you still like to join. @Ahmed Farghaly this is Fewbie Plus drive, hence i cant accept your WL showing Fewbie rank.
  24. Alternatively, Pajero 4x4 system isn't rocket science tbh. Paying 2400 labor is still obscene. Though you have this diagnosis now, why dont you google a few Pajero or Mitsubishi Garages and ask them to quote you if you bring all these OEM parts from habtoor? You can easily filter garages based on reviews and ratings these days. My generous bet would be close to 500 dhs on the outside garage for the labor.
  25. Please go through the Carnity Grading structure, to keep you and your vehicle safe: https://carnity.com/forums/topic/16479-off-road-club-grading-structure-v30/
