  3. Thanks all for positive suggestions and contributions, I will post the trip shortly for 11 Aug 2017 - Around the UAE.
  4. Excellent observation and clarification @pankajrg Awesome question @amitaj I also used to wonder and get frustrated sometime due to this discrepancy. Question to car manufacturer, that why can't you study the fuel tank properly before installing the fuel sensor and calibrate the gauge to tell actual fuel remaining. This is the most important info that every driver rely on daily basis, than adding tons of modern gizmos in car that get used once in a while.
  5. Hi bvb, welcome aboard. I do drive 1999 SWB Pajero 3.5, check the drives pics in gallery for Silver Pajero. Do share some of your car pics, as I used to have 3.0 in white before scouting this 3.5. For upholstery, there are plenty of businesses listed here. I suggest to go to the nearest one and see the quality and bargain for the best price. https://carnity.com/search/?&q=upholstery&type=cms_records5&nodes=91&sortby=relevancy For AC duct, I am afraid you wont find any good one in used as I tried gazillion times and all came out broken, as its a brittle plastic and cracks as soon scarppy touches it. Habtoor can order whole assembly for 1400 dhs. Also remember that for changing those ducts you need to open the whole dashboard and risk of cracking many other plastic clips in and around. For all these reasons im also living with half broken ducts (sadly). If you find out some intelligent and practical way, please share it with me too.
  6. It's a great idea @Ren13, mixing your idea with @Barry (road trip) and @waqaszohair initial idea of around the uae. I have already done some prelim math last night considering the hotter month, tried trimming the route to 614 km by touching key places in each of 7 emirates in the UAE and return in 10 hours drive (including all pitstops + lunch + friday prayers). What you say guys.....? I and Rahim bhai are game for it. 11 August, Friday - 10 AM - 8 PM
  7. May be we can have two different level and type of celebrations 🤗 Let's get some ideas for 15k members celebration 🎉 @Abdul Basit Khan suggested: Let's have a meet-up at any mountain view area (Fujairah, Rak) or we can plan a water park amusement to beat the heat. 😎 Although I'm fine with above suggestion but prefer to do something different, what we haven't done before.
  8. Yes any carnity member can join any carnity drive, it's free for all. While I suspect you are driving on sand without deflating your tires. When we venture off-road, we deflate to 10-15 psi (depending on tires type) to have a better grip, that allow us to drive slowly without much of wheel spin to climb higher dunes.
  9. Kings are very good for coils if you can afford them. I think most of the safari boyz run Kings due to it's extreme reliability. Other brands are also good - Old man EMU, Ranchos, Tough dog, rough country.
  10. Really.....? And why we haven't seen one yet on Dubai roads
  11. To be honest you don't Pajero specialist unless you like to pay double the price of standard workshop. I am having one since last 7 years and they are extremely simple and yet Japanese engineering, almost identical to Nissan and Toyota. So go to any Japanese workshop, you will be just fine. Just make sure you compare the quote of few workshop to eliminate the rip off garage.
