Wadi Shawka in RAK, UAE - All You Need to Know about
syedyaseer replied to Gaurav's topic in Offroad Routes
I had been to wadi shawka and heritage village on Friday. Was disappointed as their was no water at all. Only best part was the park adjacent to it where kids had a good time playing around. During our return journey I saw a board mentioned only shawka. Wanted to check it. After 400-500 mts drive their was a board with the direction towards our left that board was of some offroading grounp of whom I felt they have a permanent camp their. I drove towards that direction for around 5kms non tarmac road. It was bit scary. Reached spot and found that the offroading group had organized some night events their. Saw it from little distance lots of jeeps and other 4x4 were parked.- 8 replies

Srikumar has been promoted to Marshal level
syedyaseer replied to Gaurav's topic in Off-Road Club's Announcements
@Srikumar congrats sir ji. Well deserved. I was among the one in newbie who was overwhelmed by the response received from every one. @Srikumar sir was very accommodating. Each time I ping him. His response was just drive it towards your left and you are good to go. May be this is the reason our carnity is so famous among newbies too. Great going guys. @Gaurav @Rahimdad thank you for the wonderful platform.- 13 replies

Just to feel more comfortable i ensured that it is getting absorbed as 50% in rent & 50% in brunch. I like to show clear chart not a messed up one like we do it for budgeting during yearly reviews & increments🤣

Prado and its Basic Know How
syedyaseer replied to syedyaseer's topic in Toyota Land Cruiser Prado Forum in UAE
@desertdude On a lighter note, here are the overview on the number of pages from the manual which comes with Prado. 327 pages for Navigation Manual, 764 Pages for User Manual & 160 Pages for Off road Manual - Total 1251 pages which is equivalent to my Master Degree Syllabus/Curriculum. Missing those days seriously. 😩 -

Prado and its Basic Know How
syedyaseer replied to syedyaseer's topic in Toyota Land Cruiser Prado Forum in UAE
Do we need to take any special care if the the car has been to desert? Reason for my query is, yesterday when i open bonnet of my prado i saw lot of sand everywhere. Im worried if that needs any special attention or only regular wash including engine bay wash is ok to get over the sand. -
@Rahimdad My first drive with you all was really awesome. i felt a bug called offroad has stung me. Only issue during the drive because of which i was not able to enjoy to the fullest was getting under body hit because of unexpected jump or similar. After every steep dune(for me every dune was a challenge) i was looking on to my bumpers just to ensure it is not scratched . Also i remember someone saying during the drive. You should never take your 1 lac or above car to the desert 😁
