  1. Just a question ? - do you want better sound ? - or a more modern touch screen, like a android unit ? Reason why I’m asking is that most of these aftermarket android thingys have horrible built in amplifiers, which will make your sound system sounds even worse than the original. If your aim is to improve sound quality then you could keep the unit, but invest in a separate amplifier and component speakers.
  2. How much tyre pressure do you normally put ? With this hot weather maybe it got too high ?
  3. Spray some WD40 or penetrating oil in the remaining wheels and see if you can gently loosen them up. All your wheels might have this issue.
  4. That’s definitely strange. My only suspicion would be that it was hugely overtightened in the past of a guy with a impact gun. (Doof Doof)...
  5. 35" tyres definitely need re-gearing. otherwise you won't be able to climb much more than a mole hill 😁
  6. Review from @Xaf after using the Mastercraft Courser AXT: My review after 10.000km usage: - Compared to H/T tires more noise on the road, acceptable. - Can go easily to 10 psi, didn’t try lower. No issues, hard core off-roading, sliding, wadis, till now no pop-outs/ cracks. - I found them quite heavy compared to my H/T, but my H/T were 285/60 18, the Mastercrafts 285/70 17. I feel difference in performance, need a bit more momentum on dunes. - Same company as coopers, same quality control. Price difference is probably to cover marketing costs for Cooper. - Looks cool
  7. Please do check if you have the Courser AXT (All Terrain) or the Courser HSX (Highway Tyre). @Xaf has the AXT and has good results, but apparently needs a bit more momentum. It would make sense to experience a bit with different psi settings to see what works best. I've also heard (but not sure if this is fact) that AT tyres need to settle in and will need to be deflated - inflated a few times until they really perform best. Probably a myth..

  10. Very well done by the entire crew on this drive, we bumped up the level a bit at the end by riding some ridges in the dark, but all did amazing!! We all took turns trying to conquer Faya and everyone supported each other via the radio and cheered for the people who made it up. Proud to see such family and supportive atmosphere ❤️ @Shamil your drive on the first part was great, with a good pace and in good communication with your second lead. Sorry about your car letting you down, I hope it can be resolved without too much issues.
  11. Thanks for informing @Jorge Stepniak Felippe these things happen. See you soon in the sands !
  12. All these numbers and digits are quite meaningless and invaluable to me. I'd rather go for:
  13. That’s exactly why we keep preaching to leave your egos at home during off-roading. It eventually goes wrong and the desert “giveth but also taketh”..😉
