    Hi Gawie, The Pajero SWB is a fine vehicle for offroad . The standard tow hooks are fine. If you do not have a radio yet for your first drive, that is fine, we have spare one that you can use. When joining from second drive onwards you can buy a radio in Dragon Mart. Have a look at below link for more info on prices:

    Hi Adel, Based on the type of car you have, there are many different options: - 25dhs Dune buggy Offroad flag from Dragon Mart with metal bracket that can be bolted to a roofrack, or to a suction cup (also available in Dragon Mart). - 180dhs AOR offroad flag from ACE/Speedex/Emarat Gas stations that needs to be bolted on a bracket or holder. We leave it open to each individual to decide what works best for them, hence we don't do any collective purchases as of now. Same applies for radios, compressors, recovery ropes, shovels, etc.. where we can advise and guide but don't enforce a certain brand or model. As long as it works and it is safe.

    Hi @Nitin Mohan for the first drive we provide a radio for you to use (loan). On the next drives we request to obtain your own radio, off-road flag, and shovel.

    That looks OK @Nitin Mohan Just check once if they are not corroded or loose or at the next oil change you can ask the workshop to check the integrity and see if they are still in good condition.

    Dear Mohammed, These are fine. The stock Pajero tow points are pretty decent for basic recoveries. With regards to the radio, as you are joining us for the first time, you can borrow a spare radio from us. No worries.

    That depends on the condition of the vehicle that you’re buying. German parts are obviously a bit more expensive than the Japanese ones, and it may sound rude what I’m about to say but if you’re planning on buying a luxury SUV you should be prepared to shell out more than a budget commuter car type of vehicle.

    Hi Adel, thanks for the quick reply. Please do note that the radios we hand out for absolute newbies are only for temporary use (loaner). We do require the Offroad member to obtain their own radio.

    The problem with this is that many people do not seem to understand that not all roads have a fast lane. A double lane road like Al Qudra road is considered a carriageway, and during busy traffic hours both lanes are full, yet you'll see the crazy Patrol drivers tailgating and flashing like crazy, while driving 140. (Max 90km/h).

    This article is complete rubbish and hardly provides any detail about some of the so called issues itself. Their sources are ars.com, caranddriver.com, usnews.com but it looks like they generalized so much that they can't even properly describe what the issues are. Some examples: Comment about the FIAT 500X: 'immensely weak when it comes to its overall structure'. I went to the actual review on cars.com and cannot not find any complaint about that. Comment about the Kia Sorento: ';as it is not the best when it comes to its handling. For that reason, one should think carefully before committing to this rather faulty vehicle' . WhatCar describes the car like this: In this way i can also review cars. Looks more like a clickbait website instead of a proper car review website.

    I can’t speak for the whole of China, but the few major cities I was in it was very civilized. Hardly any honking.

    They got a bad reputation in the past because of one bad series (pre 2007). After that, they seem to be dead-on reliable, and definitely more pleasing than these horrible CVT things.
