ANNOUNCEMENT Safety Recall Campaign Statement: Power Assisted Steering (PAS) High Pressure Hose replacement for certain 2009 - 2012 Ford Figo vehicles In coordination with the Ministry of Economy -Consumer Protection Department and in line with the commitment of the Ministry of Economy to conduct an on-going review of all products in the UAE and provide the consumer with the required protection, Al Tayer Motors, the local importer - dealer of Ford vehicles in the UAE, and Premier Motors, the official dealer for Ford vehicles in Abu Dhabi, announce a safety recall campaign for certain 2009 - 2012 model year Ford Figo vehicles, manufactured in Chennai, India, for PAS High Pressure Hose replacement. Ford has identified that the affected vehicles are fitted with a PAS high pressure hose that may split, resulting in a power steering fluid leak. A power steering fluid leak could result in fumes being emitted from the engine compartment. It may also be possible for power steering fluid to come into contact with the vehicle's exhaust system components, creating potential for smoke, and in extreme cases, fire. In the UAE, a total of 839 vehicles are estimated to be affected by this recall campaign. In the interest of delivering the highest standards of Ford quality and customer care, Al Tayer Motors/Premier Motors will contact the affected customers to inform them about this recall and request them to bring in their cars to have the PAS high pressure hose replaced.     2015 - 2017 Ford

    ANNOUNCEMENT Safety Recall Campaign Statement: Driveshaft Flexible Coupling Replacement for certain 2015 -2017 Transit vehicles In coordination with the Ministry of Economy -Consumer Protection Department and in line with the commitment of the Ministry of Economy to conduct an on-going review of all products in the UAE and provide the consumer with the required protection, Al Tayer Motors, the local importer - dealer of Ford vehicles in the UAE, and Premier Motors, the official dealer for Ford vehicles in Abu Dhabi, announce a safety recall campaign for certain 2015 - 2017 model year Ford Transit vehicles, manufactured in Kansas City, United States of America, for driveshaft flexible coupling replacement. In the affected vehicles, the driveshaft flexible coupling may crack with increasing mileage, resulting in driveline noise and vibration. Continued driving with a cracked flexible coupling may cause separation of the driveshaft, resulting in a loss of motive power while driving, or unintended vehicle movement in park without the parking brake applied. A driveshaft separation may increase the risk of injury or crash. In addition, separation of the driveshaft can result in secondary damage to surrounding components, including brake and fuel lines. In the UAE, 154 vehicles are estimated to be affected by this recall campaign. ANNOUNCEMENT Safety Recall Campaign Statement: Driver seat wiring harness check and adjustment for certain 2014 - 17 model year Maserati Ghibli, Quattroporte and Levante vehicles In coordination with the Ministry of Economy — Consumer Protection Department and in line with the commitment of the Ministry of Economy to conduct an on-going review of all products in the UAE and provide the consumer with the required protection, At Tayer Motors, the local importer —dealer of Maserati vehicles in the UAE, and Premier Motors, the official dealer for Maserati vehicles in Abu Dhabi, announce a safety recall campaign for certain 2014 - 17 model year Ghibli, Quattroporte and Levante vehicles, manufactured in Italy, for driver seat wiring harness check and adjustment. Maserati S.p.A. has determined that the above described vehicles may have been manufactured with an incorrect driver seat wiring harness layout, which can cause the seat wiring harness to rub against metal points on the seat/seat frame assembly. Through normal seat adjustment operation, and over time, this can lead to an inoperative seat adjustment system, and in rare cases, a potential risk of fire due to an electrical short to ground between the seat wiring harness and the seat adjustment motor assembly. A total of 2082 vehicles are estimated to be affected in the UAE. ANNOUNCEMENT Safety Recall Campaign Statement: Front brake pipe replacement for certain 2015 MY Land Rover Defender vehicles In coordination with the Ministry of Economy -Consumer Protection Department and in line with its commitment to conduct an on-going review of all products in the UAE and provide the consumer with the required protection, Al Tayer Motors, the local importer - dealer of Land Rover vehicles in the UAE, and Premier Motors, the official dealer for Land Rover vehicles in Abu Dhabi, announce a safety recall campaign for certain 2015 model year Land Rover Defender vehicles, manufactured in the UK, for front brake pipe inspection and replacement if necessary. The affected vehicles are showing signs of a chafe condition in the front brake pipe from caliper to the brake flexible hose. Where the brake pipe is chafed, in some instances it has been reported that a noise is present or loss of brake fluid has occurred. Brake fluid loss will illuminate a red warning triangle on the instrument cluster instructing the driver to seek qualified assistance before continuing. It will ultimately result in extended brake pedal travel combined with reduced braking performance in the corresponding brake circuit and vehicle stopping distances may increase. Loss of one braking circuit could compro-mise vehicle stability and significantly increase the risk of an accident. In the UAE, 38 vehicles are estimated to be affected by this recall campaign. In the interest of delivering the highest standards of Land Rover quality and customer care, Al Tayer Motors/Premier Motors will begin contacting the affected customers to inform them about this recall and request them to bring in their vehicles to have the front brake pipes inspected and adjusted to the correct clearances, if necessary. If there are any signs of damage to the left hand, right hand or both sides of the front brake pipe, the damaged pipe will be replaced free of charge. Daimler AG has determined that on certain A-Class (176 platform), CLA (117 platform), C-Class (205 platform), E-Class (213 platform) and GLC (253 platform) vehicles the starting current limiter could be overloaded under certain conditions during the starting procedure. The announcement has been aligned jointly with Gargash Enterprises and Emirates Motor Company and the Ministry of Economy - Department of Consumer Protection to inform customers about the launch of an inspection of the affected vehicles which are imported in UAE. United Arab Emirates, Dubai, Trading Enterprises Company LLC, 18 th July 2017, exclusive distributor of Honda in the UAE, released the following statement: Following communication with Honda Motor Company, we have started a Safety Recall Campaign on 15,442 units of the Accord MY 2013 - 16 in the UAE. In the subject vehicles there is a possibility the battery sensor installed in affected vehicles may have been improperly manufactured with gaps that could allow for moisture intrusion. If moisture containing conductive substances enters the battery sensor, it could cause an electrical short and consequently, a fire. United Arab Emirates, Dubai, Trading Enterprises Company LLC, 19th July 2017, exclusive distributor of Honda in the UAE, released the following statement: Following communication with Honda Motor Company, we have started a Safety Recall Campaign on 153 units of the CRV MY 2017 in the UAE. In the subject vehicles there is a possibility end form on the fuel feed pipe, which is needed to secure the connection to the fuel feed hose was not manufactured correctly, the feed pipe and the feed hose may not be completely connected or may disconnect once the fuel lines become pressurized, resulting in a fuel leak. A fuel leak can cause engine to stall or in presence of an ignition source, there is possibility of fire. All repairs related to this service campaign will be completed free of charge to the customer. Daimler AG has determined that on certain S-class vehicles (222 platform) the main power supply of the vehicle's interior is disabled after a collision. The announcement has been aligned jointly with Gargash Enterprises and Emirates Motor Company and the Ministry of Economy - Department of Consumer Protection to inform customers about the launch of an inspection of the affected vehicles which are imported in UAE. ANNOUNCEMENT Safety Recall Campaign Statement: Rear driveshaft replacement for certain 2010 and 2011 Model Year (MY) Jaguar vehicles In co-ordination with the Ministry of Economy - Consumer Protection Department and in line with its commitment to conduct an on-going review of all products in the UAE and provide the consumer with the required protection, Al Tayer Motors, the local importer - dealer of Jaguar vehicles in the UAE, and Premier Motors, the official dealer for Jaguar vehicles in Abu Dhabi, announce a safety recall campaign for certain 2010 and 2011 MY XJ vehicles, manufactured in the United Kingdom, to update the Restraint Control Module (RCM) with the latest software. Jaguar Land Rover has identified a concern with certain Jaguar XJ 2010 and 2011 MY vehicles where, when connected to Jaguar Land Rover's Symptom Driven Diagnostics (SDD) device and an update to the RCM is unsuccessfully undertaken, the calibration may default to a pre-set condition.
