Well this has been an adventure!

My advice now, find a good mechanic. Someone who can tell you what’s wrong. Not someone who says I only fix Japanese cars or I only fix American cars, someone who actually knows about cars.

Once you know what’s wrong, keep driving the car, it’s not a major issue, and order the parts online yourself. Bring the parts to any cheap monkey mechanic and they can fit them cheap.

Its korean, it shouldn’t take too long to get. I can get kpop albums from Korea to Dubai in 3 days if I was that way inclined. Most of my work is classic American cars and I can get most parts in 10 days, and America is further away than Korea. Don’t take shit from people. Be proactive

Thanks Barry for Logical advise, It's a Taiwanese Car, I tried everything from made in taiwan, ebay, taiwantrade.com, alibaba etc. could not find any supplier for Axle Drive Shaft.

Sorry to say this but if any car dealership take 3-4 weeks for getting parts, that means they themselves is not convince with that brand and just outsourcing parts from Oman, KSA or China just for the heck of it instead of stocking it here.

Used car ownership is a marriage between the parts and service provided by dealer or outside workshop. If you can't find these, then you should be better changing this "UNSUPPORTED" brand with much loved brands in UAE, whose spare part type no:1, 2, 3 and scrap is readily available in a day's time.

You are absolutely Right, This brand is already stopped by the dealer "western Auto"

It was not a marriage it was Mutah (Temporary Marriage) to buy 5-6 months to earn the revenue back from the investment made recently.

Then in this scenario it can't be wheel balancing, its more mechanically powered or engine related issue, that requires physical inspection to be 100% sure.

Totally agree with @Barry and @shadow79 advise and those both are the quiet close possibility as it's vibrating only while hitting the gas.

It's worth digging into how axle has been repaired earlier, because while axle is powered it may be causing this vibration.

The Authorized Dealer of Luxgen in DIP suggested to replace the entire Axle "Shaft Assembly Drive" as per the Picture. Can any member advise where to procure Luxgen Parts in U.A.E. or online.

Smells like the axel inners shot.... repaired in a sense that it was checked and repaired or just plop a can of grease and put the boot back..

Yes exactly Mr. Adel cars & Bikes Al Quoz 3 guy did the same. They told me they took it for some lathe machine and put a new rubber cover with grease.

At first I'm really doubting on wheel balancing and not alignment.

Get the wheel balancing done from a "GOOD WORKSHOP" and stand on there head to see 0 and 0 on both sides of each wheel, as many times if you are standing outside or on phone, the low paid worker leave the balancing at 15 and 0 or vice versa that cause such strange vibrations at different speeds.

Second while getting the balancing, ask them to open the tire and clean from inside if there is any sand or rubber dust has formed. This usually appear in offroad cars after the pop out, but getting this checked while at it can save tons on blind shooting the parts.

I still didn't get when you said tires are new and can last another two months.....! What's the date of manufacturing on tires, and share the close up picture of front tires showing the shoulder and main tread left. If tires are old and worn out with uneven wearing can cause this issue too, occasionally.

After getting the tire balance, go and inflate all 4 tires at same PSI as per OEM advise, maybe 30-35 PSI and then check on highway if you still have the same vibration. As many times tire guys inflate tires at 45+ psi making all situations even worst to debug.

  6. Yesterday I noticed in more details, below are observations.
    1. Very minor (negligible) vibration on slow acceleration.
    2. Hard Press on Gas Paddle vibration starts from 40 and gets severe between 50-60 km/hr speed.
    3. No or negligible Vibration between 100-120 km/hr speed.
    4. No vibration when pressure is constant on gas pedal.
    5. When pressure dropped on gas pedal from 60-40 km/hr no vibration noticed.
    6. Vibration Starts between 40-60-80 Km/hr speed.
    7. At 80 km/hrs vibration is still there but minor or negligible.
    8. Steering no specific vibration but windows make minor vibration especially on right side.
    9. Attached Picture of Front Tyre. The Tyre is OEM and since April 2014.

A badly balanced wheel willl always vibrate at speed. If it’s only under acceleration it might be an engine problem. That’s why I’m asking these questions.

Yes it is only during acceleration that too on sudden or hard acceleration which is needed at signal or round about. The vibration starts between 40-60-80 i.e. Mild-Severe-Mild

    16 hours ago, Gaurav said:

Yes, that's what he mentioned vibration is there constantly at 40-60 and increases if he accelerate. After 60 it goes away.

Please confirm if you at 60 and leave the gas pedal to drop till 40, is it vibrating in that 60-40 band?

If yes, wheel balancing could be the main culprit. If not, Barry is right?

If I drop the gasoline pedal at 60, absolutely no vibration is felt in 60-40 band.

I won’t recommend my garage because it’s illegal and Carnity will hunt me down and kill me but check out the garages section on here

    https://carnity.com/business_listing/car-services/general-service-workshop

Check the garages ratings. It’s more reliable than google where people only tend to post bad reviews when they’re in a bad mood

It's 152 Auto Garages Recommended, Not possible to pin out the best among them.

I agree with the rest of you guys that wheel balancing could cause a vibration but the vibration would be constant, not just on acceleration.

The fact that the car only does it when accelerating tells me that the engine is hesitating under load, probably due to bad spark plugs or weak coils.

This is just my opinion though, judging from what I’ve read. I may or may not be wrong. I can’t properly diagnose a car that isn’t with me, I can just make educated guesses on the information supplied.

You have already replace the engine and transmission mounts so that’s ruled out. The person that told you to do that isn’t a professional mechanic. Professionals fix the problem first time, not guess and swap parts at the customers expense and hope the problem goes away.

You need to find a proper technician in a proper garage. All any of us can do here is offer educated guesses.

    Thanks Barry,

If you can suggest any good mechanic or garage it will be a great assistance.

    Regards

Check the track bar. My cherokee was doing that and i was joking that my car has massage option. It was doing it only between 70-80 below and above was fully ok.

I dont know if your car has track bar but it could be bushning.

I believe LUXGEN u&-22 don't have track bar

I have noted all the suggestions and will go for it one by one, Thank you very much for your time and attention, indeed.

It only happens when you’re accelerating between 40-60?

What happens when you’re cruising at a speed between 40-60? Does it still vibrate?

It happens even when you start from 0, more it is felt between 40-60, today I will again monitor and update you here.

  11. Thank you very much for your time and attention,

Yes it vibrates even when I accelerate after signal is green.
And especially I have noticed between 40-60 its vibrates more and then recedes after 60 and gets normal.
If I put force gradually on accelerator the vibration is not much but still between 40-60 vibration is clearly visible.

  12. Thanks Gaurav, I will give you details as per my observations,

One more Point I need to bring in your notice is a light thud noise is coming when the wheel enters in pot holes, I checked with the mechanic and he said the shock absorvers are fine, for both front and rear, Do I need to do any of the following.

    1) wheel balancing

    2) wheel Alignment.

First time I took it to western Auto DIP they said Front Axle is broken, I called the Seller he, told me they are playing with me and just need to replace Lower Mounting and he suggested me to visit Cars & Bikes in Al Quoz where the owner advised me to change both gear mounting and engine mounting and also he put the missing rubber cap of front axle which I did. for few days it was running good, after a week I traveled to Oman and drive almost 1000 Kms with a average speed of 130/135 kms/per hour, after that this problem arise, However during the 5 hours journey I had taken a 30 minutes break after every 90 minutes of continuous travel.

  13. Thanks Gaurav, I will give you details as per my observations,

    1) At signal when I accelerate it vibrates.
    2) Especially from 40-60 km/hr its vibrating more on front side, steering + body, Rear is normal like after affects.
    3) After 60 -70 its run smooth, however if further accelerated it vibrates (I will note all your points and post it again here)
    4) Total Kms is 108000, next service is due on 1,10,000 Kms.
    5) Car was regularly maintained at western auto the authorised dealer.
    6) I purchased it at 100000 Kms recently on 23 May 2019
    7) Tyres are original and can run another 2 months.
😎 At the time of purchasing the owner a Belgium national advised me to change the mounting when I told him about the vibration issue.
